So now a simple question: What's the most simple way to play my recent games on my 9.2 N3DS ? Someone said on another thread we can even if we can't have 9.6+ emunand.

Get an 9.5 emuNAND working. Then download cryptofixed CIAs for those games that require higher FWs.

Giving this a try very shortly, I want to make sure that I have all my bases covered, so here's some information. Tell me if I'm missing anything before I proceed.

• I'm on 10.3.0-28U.
• I just formatted my system so my only entrypoint is browserhax or smashbroshax should I decide to use it.
• I double-checked my DNS settings and proxy settings; DNS is set to auto-resolve, proxy is set to off.
• I checked safe-mode, it works fine.
• I have the files and I verified them all with the md5 file provided earlier in this thread, and they all matched. Further, I verified with Teracopy after transferring to my SD card and got no errors.
• I'm using the starter kit provided on the homebrew website and I have no other applications installed besides the default homebrew applications and sysUpdater.

Here's some screenshots of my files for people who want to confirm;

Root, 3ds, Themes, updates 1, updates 2, updates 3, updates 4

I plan to launch ftpBrony before sysUpdater, and closing it with L+R+Down+B and then opening sysUpdater to improve my chances of success. Is there anything I'm missing before I take the plunge?

Yes I'm using tux, and I'm using themehax, and yes i did

Double-check your cia pack to make sure it's for your proper version/region/3ds model. N3DS and O3DS are separate packs.

If you mean, from cartridges, nope. Only cryptofixed CIAs.

First time? Hung at Checking the CIA files. Hard reset. Semi-brick. Recovery mode fixed it.

Second time? Downgrade started, then errored out. Permanent brick. No recovery mode, nothing.

Seriously, I would recommend waiting for a sure fire way. Yeah, you have a chance at it being successful, but do you really want to risk it?

Just redownloaded full USA pack, uploaded to SD and retried. Same error message "TitleException... Failed to get CIA file info"...

Maybe you should wait for KTM. Even if you got it working, you may be risking a crash, then a brick.

Which firmware/region/model are you on, and which did you try to downgrade to?

I'm guessing I'm screwed. I was able to successfully downgrade according to the installer but it did not reboot by itself. Now I just have a black screen on reboot with/without SD Card and can't get into recovery. Was on 9.9.0.26U and got it thru MenuHax.

Just tried it and the app hung at step #4, Overwrite completed for the memchunkhax part. I assume I should restart the app and try again?
