Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuk My N3DS Bricked even though everything was going too smoothly, it was installing so fast I wasnt able to see what even was happening during then, everything was fine the downgrade packs were proper one most of you used on your 3ds and shit. The Blue light and no screen of death!

The only version we have for the smaller model here is the Animal Crossing Bundle, and that one ships with 9.5+. I just thought it might brick because small model N3DS'es have never been released in the States before on 9.2.

@jscjml with the way things are going right now, you should probably wait. I think there's something wrong with that specific model.

I'm just going to wait for a Gateway release for 9.3-10.3. I have a LE MH4U N3DSXL on 9.2 if i ever need CFW, i just wanted to get this smaller model exploited so i could play out-of-region games on it.

Oh! Alright, thats good to hear. I was imagining about the same since on that "one" site the version packs were only separated by "Old 3DS" and "New 3DS" and region.

If it really is unrecoverable even with the L R A Up Start recovery menu, then you can sell back on eBay for spare parts. You'll get some of it liquidated, but dont expect anything good. or even close to a normal 3ds price.

edit: Alternatively you can wait to see if @hundshamer (name on gbatemp) can fix some of these 3DSes. He would be the man to talk about hardmodding, but you might need a SysNAND backup beforehand to start. Who knows, its worth a shot to ask though. Try sending him a PM or wait for a statement from him.

Actually, I see people, specifically American users, having a lot more luck with the N3DSXL models than the non-XL ones. Although, you probably should wait anyway.

I just downloaded the update full package then downgraded.

You only need to delete that file if you're downgrading a JN3DS.

That's a soft brick that can be recovered via safe mode.

when I get into the updater it gets to #5 then freezes any help

Use menuhax entry point, basically cold Boot hbmenu. Then use new downgraded with proper full update package in the updates folder on root of SD.
