People where I live would ask 'Is he Asian?'ineap09 said:Note: B's as in grades.BloodyFlame said:I've done that too in my sophomore year of highschool where I never did math homework but did relatively well on the tests.ineap09 said:Wow, that's crazy. I just failed three classes because of procrastination(If you only count the work I actually did I had straight A's), and I haven't heard any rant at all.
Dad just says, "Take responsibility." And then his profound all encompassing answer for my procrastination, "Just do it." Yeah, thanks Dad, that really helps...eh, but it's better than a rant so I guess I should be thankful.
You are one lucky bastard. If I failed a class, I will probably never see another monitor until I move out.
Yeah, it's strange. I'm still able to play games and stuff a lot...maybe they want me to fail again in the future?
And failed.

So, I got a B- (40/50) on a Social Studies quiz that more than half of my entire grade failed. Now, my dad is so amazing that he can tell my ENTIRE academic future with that one grade. He says that I don't have a chance of getting into colleges such as USC. He also said that B's are TERRIBLE grades and he will take everything away if I get a B again. Thoughts?
Other than that, I've convinced my parents that if they 'take everything away' I'd have no motivation to do anything and just fail everything.
Does take a while, but I just keep asking them the question 'How does taking everything away help?'
Or you can take psychology and learn that positive reinforcement is better than negative reinforcement and somehow explain that to them.
Also USC, you live in California too?
