people when you download this stuff make sure you have 1 or 2 gb sd cards... i heard you may have to have quite a few to get them all!!!

so the free wiiware, free VC titles, free backup loader, third party apps, and dvd player didn't matter but a few hundred or thousand people getting free DLC for a game that sold millions of copies and isn't owned by nintendo, will be more important than all those other things? not to be snide but i think that bridge was crossed a long time ago. rock band 2 DLC is probably much lower on nintendo's list than playing pirated games and VC/Wiiware stuff.

Whats the difference between the two? ..They look the same.
I started using Gen 1 tools and it seems to be working. idunno yet. Its still downloading the files which Im thinking are songs. So far 200 downloaded (1.79gb)

the difference in Gen 1 tools and gen 2 tools is the Ticket files . all other files are the same
it was released in this fashion to simplify things .

There are no wads in the package. Am I missing something? It says I've gotta do the download first with Start.bat (its up to 328 files now. 3gb) Then I have to type in "wadpacker 0 999"
Thats what makes the wad that I need...then I install it.. and so on. Sure takes a long time.

Read the readme.
after u do "wadpacker 1 0" ull get a wad u need to rename. sZAE for gen one sZBE for gen 2.
install the wad made from wadpacker 1 0
then u need to type wadpacker 0 999
this will make .bin files
place ALL .bin files under the DLC/sZAE folder for gen one DLC/sZBE folder for gen 2
open RB_dlc_manager and it will load up all ur DLC files.
put in sd card and copy songs u want with rb_DLC_manager to the card.

I was reading the instructions and I'm trying to go through it step by step. Gotta wait till its done downloading before I can do the next step tho.
I didnt realize that I had to use Gen 1, AND Gen 2. I thought it was just a choice what one you wanted to use. I Just thought one was an old version and the other was a new version of the hack. It didnt say anything about using one then the other, just two tutorials that looked exactly the same.

on the bright side, once ur done doing generation one u can put some songs on ur sd card and go play em while downloading gen 2

It finished downloading the files for Gen 1.
When I did the "wadpacker 0 999" step it went through the list and after packing alot of files it popped up an error:
"Packing 00010001.app ...open (getfile) 00010001.app: no such file or directory"

Then it stops and goes to the prompt. Did it not download all the files correctly? I dont remember exactly how many there were but it was over 500. Do I have to start all over again from the beginning?

I could be mistaken, but aren't they up to sZCE by now? I don't have RB2 Wii, I bought it for the 360, but just poking around it appears that there's files up to 27 in the sZCE folder...

Anyone else having this problem? I thought it might have been because I was on my laptop and the connection got lost at one point or something but I tried on my other pc and redownloaded all the files again and the same amount of files downloaded. It finished just fine. I keep getting this error, and it doesnt make the title.wad file because of it.
