Can someone point me in the right direction on how to make a custom stage? What tools would i use?
You might wanna check out exactfile. It seems easier.
"Create Digest" then check "Include subfolders" and choose "Method and Format".
I do not select "Include full paths in output" because I like relative(portable) paths.

I believe the default setting allows for one file per core. So the more cores the better.
But on one of my systems that has only 4 cores the bios setting allows for 2 threads per core. So with that setting enabled to 2 threads per core, I can check 8 files "at the same time".
This is really helpful when a few big files hog up the software and you got a mess of small files that can be tackled quickly.

I'm currently dumping my digital version of Smash Bros. Will my roommate be able to use my dump for Sm4shExplorer, to make mods and stuff to load on his Wii U?
Basically, if it's a clean dump, can other people use it? (And if so, any particular reason someone doesn't just have a dump on MEGA/torrent or something?)

Yes, the game is identical for every user, there's not dumps on MEGA/torrent cause there's no real collaboration effort (yet)
Bah that really sucks that no one has uploaded... I just got halfway through a dump and it failed.
Oh well, time to try again. At least I know now that I don't have to do it again once I get a successful dump.
As an alternative, I have a .wud, would Uwizard's "extract game files" give me the same files as a dump?

Can you tell me exactly what you did? I did what you said, but in the same match the bayo 2 costume is still silent but bayo 1 plays her voice.Damn, I couldn't get it to work with fox. I must be missing something.
I got it to work with Bayonetta by changing the three bytes in the following picture to match the ones in the c01 voice soundbank.
Editing those bytes with fox yielded no results. The byte directly following "JUNK" and "BINF" appear to be set to very specific values for characters with more than one voice bank like Bayonetta and Bowser Jr., but editing those bytes just made Fox not play any voice clips at all.
I feel like I'm on the right track here, but I don't have much of an idea of what to do next and I feel like there's something else that needs to be edited for this to all work.

Err, I don't think that's it. It's just that there ISN'T anywhere that you can really download that.
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but you *could* probably do this: "obtain" a Smash Wii U .wud, use Uwizard to dump it and get the files, and also use Uwizard to get the update dump...
Most of the links/info you need to do that is in the thread OP. I don't think anyone can give you links to download the .wud though, because that's technically pirating.
I'm working on getting a US dump with 1.1.6 and hosting it somewhere where people can download it, because as far as I know that hasn't been done yet and people have been asking for it. Idk if I'll get around to uploading EU and JP tho.

Hey, so I followed this tutorial, with switching female Villager and Ryu announcer calls and injecting your own. However, when I load up smash, i'm getting Robin's call instead. Any idea's?
Where it says "snd_vc_Bayonetta" add a "_01" right after it.
Don't paste it in, just type it in on the plaintext side.

Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
