As I don't like cluttering in my folders(mostly because I will compile GC games multiple times every time a change comes along and I don't want to have multiple files of the same name in folders), I began to use CheatFreak47s template(huge thank you!!), so that you can choose the game you want and all the details will be there. I intend to put in other consoles too (if other people aren't faster than I am :P) If people like this idea, you can download it below. So far only 4 games are done :)
Hope you'll find it usefull

Edit: I think now google drive just updates from time to time, so the file will get automaticly updated without me needing it to upload every time)

I finally understood how the newest template by @CheatFreak47 worked, and implemented it :) Now with Nintendo 64 done (only Super Smash Bros. done tbh) Also couldn't really find a high res picture of the N64, when I do I will update it again :)
May I put the link in my sig @CheatFreak47 with credit ofcourse :)

Edit: Picture and console logo are now also there when you select the game details you want :) Now you only have to choose the console background picture that you like the most and then hit export :)

Do as you'd like, the templates are uploaded with no license of any kind- I consider them public domain.

WiiWare .bnr banners don't display correctly, and the ESRB rating text in banners is glitched... Could someone take a screenshot via dolphin?

I'm looking for screen captures at the end of the banner animation.

The games are:
  • Mega Man 9
  • Mega Man 10
  • Art Style Orbient
  • Art Style Cubello
  • Art Style Rotozoa
  • Art Style light trax
  • Castlevania ReBirth
  • Gradius Rebirth
  • Sonic 4
If someone could help me with those, my PC can't run dolphin :c

Thanks ^^ Done. I've added my planned injected N64 games and a few GC games. I plan to add the GC games that I need and then some NES and SNES and probably even Turbographix. So if people have some requests, just ask :)
Also, have I set up the drive folder right? Can people download the file? I never know what is the correct share setting :/

I am able to download those, but I have something to say about the gamecube graphic you chose.
It's actually horizontally stretched a little (Approximately 20% actually.)
If you want to use that particular graphic, please use this unstretched version.

Thanks :) Changed that GC picture and I also added a Wii version. Could you take a look and tell me what you think? Also, should I put the shine and the console picture with the games, so that you only really have to click one layer folder, or should there be different console options like it is now?

Can you inject WiiWare games onto the Wii U home menu? I tried to do it with KhaderWelaye's script and was told it couldn't work. Is there a different way to get it to work?

Haha yeah I stretched the picture on my templates to fill in the screen a bit more

  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
yall im torn... ive been hacking away at tales of phantasia GBA (the USA version) and have so many documents of reverse engineering i've done
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I really would like to make a hack that I would enjoy playing, and maybe other people would too. swapping to the EU version would also mean my US friends could not legally play it
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
    I appreciate the insight!
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@TwoSpikedHands just switch, all the knowledge you learned still applies and most of the code and assets should be the same anyway
