' /> appears after emoticons in post previews

Whenever I preview a post with emoticons in it, ' /> shows up after each one. This has been happening for a little over a month now.

I made a post about this in the tesing forum (link), and corbs132 said that different characters show up after the emoticons in his previews.

Remember that it's only displayed in the post preview, not the actual post.
