A Hat in Time jumps onto the Nintendo Switch this October

2017's throwback 3D platformer, A Hat in Time, has been teased for release on the Nintendo Switch for about a year now. The wait is almost over though, as Gears for Breakfast has locked in a release date for the port of the game. On October 18th, you'll be able to get your hands on the game, both digitally and physically, retailing for $39.99 on the Switch. This release will include some DLC and recent updates, which features local co-op, and the Seal the Deal chapter.

I've watched some gameplay of it and it looks great, the first level gave me a Mario Sunshine vibe. I'll get this game!
Hard to believe that this port is a thing now, the devs were really upset at people asking for a Switch port at first.

Very nice, I quite appreciated the game on PC and it's Super Mario Galaxy feel after a friend recommended it to me so it'll be awesome to follow up on Switch.
Will wait for October then xp

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
