Kamala polls higher than Biden currently, it remains to be seen how the machinations of the DNC will officially nominate Harris, but it will likely still go ahead virtually before the convention in order to meet Ohio's election deadline

Biden should have done this last year and given more time. This is hands down the stupidest decision he’s made. Hopefully it turns out well but I am not hopeful
dementia progresses differently for different people and it wasn't clear a year ago he would be this debilitated now

He should have stepped down 3 years ago ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
he has done a great job, the country is stronger, the economy has recovered, inflation has subsided, he has supported our allies around the globe

almost nothing could have been done better - what people have to understand is he doesn't have a magic wand and post covid recovery was always going to be tough

best president in my lifetime

That's a nice sentiment but the reality is that it's been obvious for a very long time, years, and whenever someone points out a concerning incident they're ignored or spat upon by all the ostriches with their head in the sand. Joe Scarborough literally said "F you!" to any of his show's viewers that didn't agree that Joe Biden was as sharp and in control as he'd ever been. Collective denial and deceit.

Somebody please tell me this isn't true ☹️

I linked his official twitter account

as smarter people than I have said, if Biden stayed in the race it was clear at this point he would have to step down at some point even if he won

he isn't mentally sharp enough for 4 more years of the most mentally taxing job in the world
