Guess the constant bitching and port begging on the twitter got to them.

No. The PS4 version hasn't been updated since launch, and is still missing any kind of DLC. The best platform to play A Hat in Time on is PC, followed up by Nintendo Switch, as it has the first DLC available. (And it's portable, of course)

What nonsense- I don't really care for dlc in any game as main game is large enough and being portable means nothing big screen with dolby surround set up is always better experience and no achievements for Switch it's not only me who thinks thts bolox

Yeah that tantrum one of the devs had on twitter was cringey AF. Dude sounded like a total douche. Either way I am happy the game is being ported, I had a lot of fun, even managed to platinum the entire game after playing nonstop for 20 hours the day I bought it on the ps4.

Exciting to see it finally launch. Unsurprising to see it's still half hearted, no DLC 2.
Physically only. Digital users have to purchase it.

Not really - a while ago, devs pretty clearly said on Twitter that the game isn't coming out on Switch, and even apologized for the misinformation later.

If only I could sync it up with my PC version and play the mods.
Certainly better on PC with those mods as the main campaign and DLC can feel a little short or disjointed.
Hopefully they get a lot of success on the Switch as I think they could make a great sequel.

Not going to expect 60fps on a port they clearly didn't want to make.

Its gonna be up to the hackers to make that possible

Already have it on pc but graphically it looks like extremely downgraded especially for on tv mode but for in handheld mode this would be great. Glad they're porting this over just a bummer because of the serious graphical downgrade

Cute game. My PC doesn't run it very well. Just wondering why they skipped the WiiU...

Kudos also to Pascal Michael Stiefel for the games outstanding OST (Windmill Peak springs to mind).

I assume that tweet was after that article, which still makes is very misleading at that point in time, unless it was edited.
