mine will freeze if i push a button instantly. i have to wait like 4 seconds n then push a for it to work

Hey guys, my initial test didn't work but it did after using sonic2756's save fix. All credits go to him!

My setup:

New 3DS XL - 9.0.0-20U
OoT - Front: LNA-CTR-AQEE-USA
Back: AQEE510220
Working y/n - NO with Gateway's save. YES with sonic2756's save.
Purchased when? - release date

I picked the filename: AQEEFIX.SAV from it. Worked for me!!!

I patched through Gateway's save restore program.

Pretty sweet.
When I booted the game, I waited a moment before pressing A. It worked the first time.

Edit: I don't have a Gateway card yet, but I performed a NAND backup anyway.
Interestingly, a New 3DS NAND backup weighs in at 1.84gb. It's twice that of an old 3DS NAND backup at 0.96gb.

Hello guys, I've bought 3 copies of the game in a local store somewhat near me (one for me and for two other friends, I'm a cool guy)

All of the three works perfectly in my N3ds XL USA. The carts have the same code in front and back, which means they are from the same batch, right?!

My setup:

Got it in a second hand shop when I brought my 1st ever 3DS, which I updated from 4.5 as soon as I got it like an idiot

All is well now with the o3DS XL and n3DS - I wrote the save back to the OOT card using gateway menu for reference - I haven't searched that hard, but my number isn't on the front page of this thread, don't know if my card is rarer at all?

So this just flat out doesn't work with the original 3ds? Because every time I ran the exploit it just freezes.

For those with USA versions of the game and had corrupted data.
Have you guys tried Sonic's new savefix http://gbatemp.net/threads/howto-use-oot-exploit-on-sky3ds-non-working-carts.383581/.

It would be good to know if his fix resolves all the issues US carts were having.
So start retesting guys when you get the chance.

Mrgeek. Maybe it would be a good idea to have a spoiler with just carts that were fixed with Sonic's new save. (For US Region only currently)
Im sure sonic is too busy to keep track of what carts were fixed or not lol.

First thing I did was backup my cart's save data and put it on my computer for later. Then I restored the Gateway save onto the cart, which overrides my personal save data.

Copied the launcher onto the New 3DS XL's micro sd through their wireless data management program on the console. Put in the Zelda OoT cart and booted up the save data that said Gateway on it within the game. The game started with Link standing inside his hut in Kokiri Forest. A command appeared immediately that says "Check" for the A button. Pressing A without moving at all within the game immediately boots the Gateway menu. Everything worked fine for me. I've done it three times. First time no problem. Second time, freeze when exiting the gateway menu to go into gateway mode. Third time, no problems.

Working y/n - No N3DS to test on, but the game loads the exploit save file with no complaints. It hangs when I press A, but I guess it'd work on N3DS at that point.

I've tester for fun on my 3DS and my N3DS and both says that the save is corrupted. I will try just to see it the other save version work.

EDIT: All versions DO NOT WORK with my cartridge. Just so you know guys

Update 3 - Some people are reporting problems with some 16gb and 32gb cards with the 3.1 update, try a 4gb or 8gb to see if this solves your problem launching gateway, this is a different bug then corrupt OoT saves.
