LOL Yeah Japanese have weird fetishes,as much as I love playing the beautiful works of art by Vanillaware, I almost felt like a pervert when I got the artbook for Dragon's Crown. I feel bad that the average Japanese male has only had one sexual partner by age 35, I think that's what adds to it. But it's awesome when your gf wants to take you to Sakura-Con which is like a rave (well part of it is a rave), with hot nerdy half naked chicks running around (except for the 300 pound woman dressed up as Louis from Bob's Burgers!). Also watching the hentai panel sitting in between 2 hot girls at night doesn't hurt =D Although sometimes you can't help but feel sorry for a BUNCH of people there that desperately need to get laid. Anyways I prefer real life dating and I'll save my PSP for when I'm not trying to get laid haha. Unless people think these games actually help the people playing them learn how to hit on gurls!!!rofl

Less about the Japanese ppl sexual life curiosities and more about game translations, please.

something too... extreme (like the one about raping frail limb-less handicapped underage schoolgirls, pigeons, or that rape simulator)
While I've never heard of (and probably don't want to) anything resembling the last one, the first two sound like you're talking about Katawa Shoujo and Hatoful Boyfriend.

Katawa Shoujo does include "frail limb-less handicapped underage schoolgirls", but it was praised for "sincere and respectful treatment of the setting," according to Wikipedia. If the game was all about raping them, there would probably be a lot less mention of "respect." I've played 2 out of the 5 routes, and while there were sex scenes, the sex wasn't the focus, and there was no raping involved.

I've haven't played Hatoful Boyfriend, but I'm pretty there's no pigeon rape or even sex in it, and I would think there's more focus on humor, with stuff like this or this, or plot, as Wikipedia says it's praised for its "writing, characterization, and surprisingly complex plot."

I'd like to make it known that as the leader (and only member) of the Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Translation project, that the description on the list is outdated. I recently took over the project and have released a more complete patch, with another update in the near future. Since the the old patch by Rolen47, I've translated most (if not all) of the text in the game. Since my last revision to the patch, I've translated most of the rest of the songs in the game, and am working on the last one (it's a really long song). I will release a new version after I've finished. From there, I will translate the game's credits and visual library, and then move on to its DLC. So in short, the project is still in active development, and is not yet finished.

Thankz, FShadow! Updated.

I usually do a (pretty lazy) check by looking at the pages of the projects in progress ignoring those that were apparently finished/dropped, I'm really sorry for it.

Thanks! I never really got the word out very well, and never created a thread for the project, so I'm not sure if anybody really knew about it. Though, I am a bit confused by what you say on the list about a "PS Vita localization". The first Project Diva game was only ever released on the PSP, as far as I know. Though I could be wrong, so please correct me if I am.

I didn't add it. My knowledge about Vita is almost 0.

GHANMI has permission to edit this thread. He adds a lot of info and corrects some products of my distraction too.

Oh, again you helped me! I forgot to mention it on the main post... *facepalm* Thankz.

Anyone know about the Queen's Blade Spiral Chaos english patch? I know they dropped it and only translated menus, but the patch is so unstable it crashes so often, hasn't anyone tried to fix it at least? (I'm not asking for more translation done to it, just to be fixed)

Hi.
For Brandish you only need XDELTA (and your original ROM, but don't ask for the ROM here). For those who can't use XDELTA and don't want to learn how, there is Nico-Blog's site (thanks Nico-Blog!). Their site doesn't have the latest patched version, but it's a pretty good version. Just google it. Don't post a link to their site because of some rule violation or something.

I'm too lazy to type in three filenames and click a button, so I will download an outdated version in the form of two split, encrypted archives, both hosted on a file hosting site with around slow download times for non-premium users. But wait, nope, also have wade through some ads as well. Makes sense.
