Gee, I wonder why you never heard of the in-game soft reset on the EZ-Flash IV.

Strangely, I'd rather have a regular everyday gameboy micro than a fancy special edition one.
Specifically, this:

I wonder if flea market has Gameboy Micro?

That's what mine looks like.

Got it for 3500 yen at a Book Off in Saitama, no charger. I found a charger in Akihabara at Retro Game Camp.

Looks like Amazon is selling used pink (

) gameboy micro for 22£ without shipping

Also, why pink coloured is over ten pounds cheaper than others?

Probably because the seller decided to sell it ten pounds cheaper than the others.

so just to clarify, all you have to do is the in-game reset after you have already saved and it keeps it, or is this "save" referring to a save state?
no need for the attitude man ive never dabbled in the gba flashcard business but i do appreciate the info.

You soft reset back to the menu and it saves just as if you turned off then back on.

Just to be helpful, since nobody has said how to do it, soft reset is: up L-shoulder A B
Nobody said the soft-reset keys because it was not needed.
They can be changed in the EZ4Client, and it can be found with a quick Google search.

Heck yeah GBM, I finally got a green one a week ago. Linking this with an SP or something is going to be such a pain, those gbm-to-gba link cable adapters are impossible to find. I might as well get a 2nd SP.

+1.

My blue GBM is never far from my side. If Ninty had the foresight (balls) to build the Play-Yan into the unit itself it would be my absolute perfect handheld.

My greatest geeky wish would be for Ninty to re-release the GBM with a AMOLED screen, SD slot, VC eStore and Play-Yan quality MP3 playback. One can only dream... :yaysp:

PS: We need a GBM smiley!

@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii

At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

    not really

It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.

RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced

    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament

maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
