In all seriousness, Trump's comments being compared with Hitler's isn't anything new, albeit not really on this scale before. At this point, he's dug himself so deep with the Big Lie nonsense that he has no choice but to keep going to maintain the voters he has. And unfortunately, that means catering to extremists.
Also worth noting that not everyone who votes for Trump supports this ideology. Some may be unaware/think he's blowing smoke/dislike Biden more etc etc
There are a great many reasons why people vote for people, and minimizing that to one reason dehumanizes those people.

So at minimum, they're either tolerant of it, or ignorant of it. Neither outcome is good for the moral character or intellect of a 2024 Trump voter.
And, I'm 100% okay with dehumanizing people who support someone literally using Nazi rhetoric.

Correct. Propaganda is dangerous and needs to be carefully deconstructed, but it also isn't fair to assume that an entire group (voter base, in this case) agrees with or supports the propaganda in question. After all, the entire point of propaganda is to slowly alter the perceptions of other people, and in some cases, it's very effective at doing so in otherwise unlikely circumstances. It is for this reason that I strongly discourage statements such as this:

Yes, there are Trump supporters who support Nazi rhetoric, but that isn't representative of all Trump supporters or voters. Quite frankly, I'm taken aback by such pointed language. If one sees a group of people as subhuman for their political views, then they are no better than the politicians that they so adamantly oppose.
And, to be clear, I am in no way supporting Nazi, alt-right, or any other sort of propaganda. I strongly condemn such practice and in no way approve of it. I only aim to clarify and accentuate the difference between attacking propaganda and attacking people.
I think the quotes should be broken down and fully explored. Never forget 2016 taking the “I could shoot someone” comment completely out of context. Quoting him without context has only shown to constantly backfire because he’s constantly quoting misquotes or false quotes attributed to him. He’s a narcissist who loves to quote media about himself, especially when it’s false information that he can use to overly communicate a web of misinformation to take advantage of the recency bias. Remember when he bombed Syria when the controversy around his son with Russia kicked off and how the media cheered him on? Or when he did a transgender military ban to distract people over his son’s treason and how the media completely forgot about the treason that day? Trump understands how to spin narratives, that much can be said about him, and why I don’t think it's advantageous to run hyperbole with this man.

Those who oppose him must take this stuff seriously, because you know his Nazi followers like Stephen Miller are. They aren't just words, either, as Project 2025 is an actionable plan to establish the Fourth Reich within the US government. It's the exact type of threat the 14th Amendment was written to combat, but should SCOTUS toss out the constitutional order, we need to be prepared to participate in mass civil disobedience.

I remember when a "hacking" website argued that elections can't be rigged.
That's when I realized it wasn't a "hacking" website. The political forum is poison, but the mods believe it's better that it's in its own section so that it doesn't contaminate the other sections of the forums.
