Hacking Nintendont

Does RE4 support wide screen? I think I had that turned on. The version on wiiUSB helper says it's a beta version so I don't know. I haven't modded the wii part of my wiiU yet. Was kinda hoping I wouldn't need to because I already have a softmodded wii. But for Nintendont is it worth it then I guess?

it does support forced wisdescreen i played it completely on it, you could have bad iso or the wupo could have been corrupt and so on, just isntall nintendont as a wiivc itself instead of putting an iso in it, i think there is an option to make that in tecmon imo.

he can use teconmoon s injector to generate ninconfig on pc

I had the latest version which I'm assuming was at the start of this thread. I just downloaded the one from wiiUSB helper because I needed a channel forwarder so I could switch it to widescreen. I downloaded the files from this thread but I was kinda confused as there was no app to open up so I could change settings.

please dont buy fake gc controllers in afew months your analogues will just die lol, i had 4 fake gc controllers from diferent brands and all of them lasted at maximum 1-1.5 years, the analogues are so bad they break or go extreme drifting, and still to this day my officiakl gc controller that came with my gc still works perfectly, and i had the gc on day one.

Unfortunately most brand new controllers that are sold are third party ones like those links.

Most official controllers (second hand) are quite expensive considering they are old.
I also tried buying an old gamecube console with the controllers (just so I can get the controllers) and those controllers had badly frayed cords so I return it.

what controller would be a good alternative to official gamecube controller wii, wii u that would play gamecube games well?
(I saw the list on first page already)
Do you have any favourite one that can replace the gamecube controller?

Or I should still get the official gamecube controller?

well the best for sure if official gc controller hands down they have perfect button layout for gc games, pressure sensitive triggers and rumble.

second imo is wiiu pro controller(official ones or else they wont work) even works on nintendont on the wii too and is wreless and has rumble too, no pressure sensitive triggers but you can do the half press trick

third is the original classic controller(official too) no rumble but has pressure sensitive triggers

4 dualshock 3 for me (official or wont work) it has rumble + pressure sensitive triggers, if you dont mind the analogue layout and buttons its preety great.

like i said make an injection and i think choose the option nintendont specific no autoboot and you can change settings but you need to have an iso on sd card sso you can start a game after choosing settings since they are only saved after you start the game.

does tecmon already has wiiugamepad slot? becuase if it doesnt the settings generated will be ignored and not loaded, i dont think anyone updated that at all.

nintendont needs settings to work, to generate settings you need to be able to enter nintendont without an autoboot iso.

afaik we cant post wiivc injections due to containing nintendo code/assets or something.

most people just use vwii homebrew channel to start nintendont to make settings or use a wiivc injection of nintendont without an iso inside, just make a damn injection and dont choose autoboot, its not hard, we cant share wiivc injections.

for default you dont need a ninconfig, since its just everything off/auto therefore why create one?the way nintendont is coded is just it saves once a game is started and if settings are diferent all from zero.

Also like i said after wiiugamepad was added it added options on the menu so old ninconfig generators dont work since it will not have wiiugamepad option and therefore be ignored.

Question is anyone still working on Nintendont need a Dev preferably to inbox me about an issue of some sort with a game but it's a modded GC game which is kind of awkward as it works on dolphin on my phone but not on pc wanting them to look into it

I'm getting memory card cannot be used errors for every game I try now. I've had multiple games save just fine before. Multi is off with 251 blocks.

Check your USB/SD card for 0 byte save files. They would be in /saves on where ever you store your ISOs.

Checked the SD and none of them are empty. It even happens when I rename the "saves" folder to "saves_".

I wouldn't necessarily count on that. After all, a couple former staff many many years ago got caught in PM trying to take over the temp and got themselves permbanned for that. I know that's a different circumstance but still. I mind my P's and Q's in PM to members on here However I suppose I would slip out a link to a patch anyway and not be too worried. Haven't had a need to but yeah.

maybe your ninconfig got corrupted and you need a new one? or sd card is locked? or no more space to creat save files in the drive?
