I don't normally post here or have time to support another forum/Discord but I'm sure Matt Kimura will help or pass on messages to me if needed.

It wont let me paste any links so check out Github - Flumpster - botw-trainer - Releases until Matt can put a proper post here.

All credit mainly to joffnerd and skoolzout1 for the work, This is just a mod to fix things.

awesome thanks a lot.

If you find any bugs let me know. I tested it to my limited knowledge as I don't even play the game and did it for some of the people on discord. They have said that everything is working but I'm not even sure what some of the codes are even supposed to do, I just added them from skoolzout1s codes. If there was codes in his list that had xxxxxxxx's in them I left them out as they would need manually setting (there was only a few, for wind etc). If anyone knows any better settings or descriptions for the codes just tell me and I can adjust it.

Also added in the missing armor and items I found on other pages here, adjusted the offsets to make the "other" tab work again for teleporting and changing time etc and cleaned up some of the tabs

Not getting any Weapons/Armor/Shields etc when I press Load items button, and refreshing does nothing either.

Do you have it set to 1.5 in the top right hand corner? if you have it set to a lower BOTW version when you are on 1.5 it does what you describe.

Oh wow, did you actually add a drop down menu for choosing the BOTW Version the user currently has?! So there is no need to download another version of the trainer for different older versions of the game. That is an awesome idea!!!

Also, it would be cool if the Trainer had an update button or an update feature that downloads the latest version of the trainer for you, and launches the updated version after its done downloading. This way the user doesn't keep having to go to GitHub every time a new version is released, the trainer would download and run the Updated Version for you. (I am asking PandaOnSmack and/or Flump by the way.)

EDIT: Also, it would be a good idea to format the code.xml in another way. To add a section for each BOTW Version, so the trainer can detect the correct set of codes based on the BOTW Version you select in the trainer. OR, maybe add a feature in the trainer to detect multiple "codes.xml" files for each version of BOTW the trainer supports.

Example:
codes.v141.xml
codes.v131.xml
codes.v150.xml

The trainer would detect the correct XML file that has the codes for the version of BOTW you have selected in the Trainer. And if no BOTW version XML files detected, the trainer could load the normal "codes.xml" as default, but the XML Version Files would get priority, so they would be loaded first automatically when you choose the BOTW Version in the drop down menu if they exist.

Thats just my suggestion, just a thought. lol

That depends, what BOTW version do you have? You must know your game version to be able to use the correct trainer version, if you dont use the correct version that matches your game version, most likely the trainer won't work for you.

When you launch BOTW and your at the game title screen (The screen where is says "Continue" or/and "New Game"), on the bottom right corner has the Game Version Number.

The trainer barely ever crashes for me. I think the only time it will crash is due to Unstable codes, or an outdated TCPGecko. Things like that. But the trainer is stable for the most part.

And as for codes, you can use as many codes as you want, all at once. But just know, the more codes you use, the more unstable it will be, I think so anyway. I only use the codes that I really need. And edit my inventory as I see fit. But there is really only a handful of codes that you should need. Unless you plan on using the "FUN" codes to mess around.

All I can tell you is to experiment with the codes, and code combinations to see what works for you, and what doesn't, then go from there.

But yeah, use Flump's Fork of the trainer, it has 1.5.0 support. PandaOnSmack has yet to update his trainer for 1.5.0 yet.

Atill no items showing up, and I definitely on 1.5.0 update wise and selected in the Trainer. Is there some order u have to go through to make this work?

Make sure the TCGGecko you are running on the wiiu is the newest.

I cannot post links here so you will have to find the updater file yourself. Just google gecko-u-updater and it will be on github by BullyWiiPlaza. Run that and click the download button and it will download the newest jgeckou and tcpgecko into a download folder where you run it. Put the TCPGecko on sd for wiiu and try it again mate.

Edit. I also just tested what it does if the YamlDotNet.dll file was not there in case you didn't extract it. That show no items but it also doesn't show the drop down menu top right where you select 1.5, 1.4.1 etc so that can't be your problem.

Got the one from the Homebrew store. That is not the latest?

No it's not mate. Get the updater I said to grab and get the newest one. I'm not saying 100% that's your problem but at least lets get you on the same one as I am using. I've had about 20 people test this on Discord and it worked for all of them but for most I did give them a zip with the tcpgecko in also which I can't link here coz I'm too new ;)
