I find gamepad support to be worth it, honestly. This already exists so making a forwarder for the HBC would be more work than it's worth

Oh yea forgot all about that LOLI find gamepad support to be worth it, honestly.
Your bootSound.wav is no goodI keep getting the error that the meta does not have the minimum files met. I'm trying to install Mario Party 7. Here are the logs
TOOLS\sox\sox.exe FAIL formats: can't open input file `.\SOURCE_FILES\bootSound.wav': WAVE: RIFF header not found
I meant the gamepad, i forgot to mention it in my last post. is it possible to run wiimote and nunchuck games on the gamepad ? like how it currently works with only the classic controller games. This is already the case, if you don't try to force GamePad support it just gives you the normal wii remote prompts.
That's the entire point for 99% of the people here!! Silly dev!!! Well, I guess that means if nobody else, FIX94 will make one for us, his grateful end-usersOh yea forgot all about that LOL
Yep! All the games will run the same way that it runs on vWii with a few exceptions, I've converted so many games and had only 1 real issue: Pokémon Battle Revolution does not work at all, the battle never starts, other games are fully functional or sometimes doesn't play on the GamePad even with Classic Controller support. The new script version seems to make the GamePad work in these games too.
This means we can also inject a working hbc channel forwarder to the Wii U side too right?

the gameconfig is patching the memory directly, but I suppose most addresses are part of the loaded dol file if the purpose is to change/fix the existing game's functions, it's not editing player's data (lives, health point, etc.)@Cyan @BullyWiiPlaza I though you guys would help me on this one.
I'm trying to patch the main.dol for Kirby Return to Dream Land with Classic Controller .gct, the problem is this game in specific has some sort of anti-piracy anti-patch thing that give black screen when applying the patch, now I would need gameconfig.txt in order to disable that protection, the problem is that I want to inject the game into a Wii VC, so I'm not sure if it's possible "include" this gameconfig.txt into the main.dol (the same way you can add a .gct into the main.dol).
I remembered GamePad support obviously, I just forgot that a homebrew channel that supported the GamePad existed haha. That's the entire point for 99% of the people here!! Silly dev!!! Well, I guess that means if nobody else, FIX94 will make one for us, his grateful end-users
No you literally download nintendont from github and put it on your SD card. This isn't advanced stuff but it does require basic knowledge of Wii and Wii U homebrew.
Ok I got Nintendont on my SD card but where do I put it? In the root of the SD card or in wiiu>apps?
So it should look like this? Not in "wiiu\apps" but in "apps\nintendont" and the name of the dol file should be "boot.dol". It's a Wii homebrew, not a Wii U one.
If you read the github page it says the instructions:Not in "wiiu\apps" but in "apps\nintendont" and the name of the dol file should be "boot.dol". It's a Wii homebrew, not a Wii U one.
If you read the github page it says the instructions:
Quick Installation:
- Get the loader.dol, rename it to boot.dol and put it in /apps/Nintendont/ along with the files meta.xml and icon.png.
vWii is just the name of the Virtual Wii built-in to the Wii U, you don't need to do anything with it.I'm following Mizumi's guide on this so I don't have the "vWii" stuff everyone's talking about. Is this a problem??
