On Linux (Ubuntu). Set up environment using http://3dbrew.org/wiki/Setting_up_Development_Environment
Checked out https://github.com/profi200/Project_CTR, compiled makerom and moved to /usr/bin
Checked out https://github.com/smealum/ctrulib, make, sudo make install

AuReiNand built without problem.

When I said that bootup has decreased one second I meant that it was ~1 second faster than before.

So with 3.14 it took 9 seconds
With 4.0.1 it took 8 seconds to boot!

And as I mentioned before at least in my case folders open up faster. So thanks again for the good work, grazie!

Can anyone do me a favor? As multiple people have noticed a slowdown of a second or so, I was wondering if the original searching algo from yifanlu is faster or not.
Could you (with a timer or so, not placebo testing) check if this version: http://www62.zippyshare.com/v/7wwSHSAA/file.html is faster than 4.0? You need to delete patched firmwares from the aurei folder before testing. If you can do a precise comparison it would help me a lot!
(If possible, test with the "Use patched FIRMs" option disabled).

I have question, If I am on 9.2 SysNAND with A9LH and AuReiNAND, can I just upgrade to 10.7 SysNAND via System Settings as long as I check A9LH detection, Updated SysNAND, and the patches option?

EDIT: Anybody? From what I can tell, It should work fine doing this as FIRM should not be updated but I would like some outside info in case I am wrong about this.

Compile the master branch? If you're using Windows, you need to make sure you're compiling using minigwx64.

Or you can just download the binary I posted a page back.

Hey people, if i use tinyformat on a 3ds with a9lh, will i need to reinstall the hax again? Only reason i want this is because i have a 3ds that is linked to previous owner's NNID and i dont want that anymore.

I believe TinyFormat leaves the NNID intact no? You would need to do a full format.

hope someone can Help me. I Have 2 O3DS, one EUR and one JPN with the latest RxTools. I never used Rei or AuReiNand. Is it possible to switch from RxTools to AuReiNand without loosing my Emunand, Games etc ?

And can i use the Secureinfo File from my EUR O3DS to make my JPN 3ds a EUR one ?

I believe TinyFormat leaves the NNID intact no? You would need to do a full format.

TinyFormat formats the NAND but not the SD card. So it would wipe out the NNID, I don't know if it would affect a9lh or not though.

You can't just clone, you need to compile it. And you need to compile makerom from master too

Ok, I finally set it up right.
I used c:\mingw64\bin\ in my path (told the install to install to C:\) and it compiled makerom.exe correctly.
Complicated, but when you know how it works.

Threads win32 i suppose instead of posix

Leave exception and build revision as default. Then just add the path you install to (including the bin) to your windows path.
