Yes, another user reported this to me and i know why it's happening. You must install the patch onto a vanilla unedited freshly decrypted and extracted romfs/a folder. One that has been edited in any form before applying the patch gives this error as I've tested it myself. I should add this to the description. 1.04 must be applied to a vanilla 'a' folder also, not a Neo Y 1.0 'a' folder.

It's nothing to do with versions, it's happening regardless of version. I'll try decrypt again.

OK done testing it was an error on my behalf when making the 1.04/0.94 patch I'll have it fixed in 5 minutes apologies!

nope all regions use the same romfs, so region shouldn't matter, i suspect he built the latest patch based on already edited files, so now its not detecting the original stock ones as its expecting ones that are already edited (just a guess)

I think there may or may not be a text issue around the spot of meeting the friends and choosing the starter. Could you do a few tests for me and run through again with froakie and then with the other starters and see if the issue repeats?

i am doing that as of now, and i realized if you run the 1.5 online patch made by gamefreak it starts as play pokemon Y, but without the patch is says Neo Y and some text actualy show up, i tried both a 4.5 and 9.0 system without the patch and with the patch with just froakie, i am going to test with chespin and fennekin now
