Yeah but they're from China, so I won't be able to IM them until later. My main question is if it's a single game what do they plan to do with regions? If someone from the US ordered one, then they'd have to flash a US version of the game? Seems a little tedious.

If they can flash it, then could they not leave it unflashed until the user gets the cart and let them do it from DS mode or something? And that is if the chip used can only be flashed once.

If they do that then hm. Is that baseball game even in the US? Seems like everyone is saying. Just a bootleg game, with a switch to put it in DS mode. But I'll get the straight facts from them later tonight about 8~ EST, and post here.

It will not be cheaper than retail if it just takes the guts of a retail copy and sticks them on another cart.
It is far more complicated than that, I described why.
Well yea. I get your point. Under normal circumstances (ie now where it's just a normal 3DS cart with the ability of a regular DS flashcart) that would be the case. But that dude you quoted mentioned that he would have bought it if it were flashable (I think you might have missed that part of his comment) which does not seem to be the case atm.

the way it works there would have to be different regions of teh flashcard if the game was locked because its technically running a 1:1 so would have to produce different cards for different regions or flash a game at buyer request then send it out

That is good. Until then we can either assume it is a DS flashcart with a real 3DS game stuck on (not much interesting there, for that price you might as well just buy the 3DS game alone) or a DS flashcart with a single bootleg 3DS game stuck on (not something most people would care about)

He said "If it is flashable with even only one 3DS game"
That phrasing makes it sound like he would buy it if you could only ever use one 3DS game you choose with it.
The cost difference isnt really worthwhile, you are still just getting a bootleg.

Btw since it's essentially a "legit" cart with a flashcart, I wonder if this will make it easier to circumvent the flashcart blocks from Ninty's console updates.

Ahh fair enough. I agree with you on that. LOL

Right right. So far I'm compiling a list to ask them, so far it's a smallish list but let me know if I missed anything.

-How much will it cost?
-Can we reflash it with a new 3DS game?
-If someone in the USA buys it does it come with a different game? The user flashes it or what?
-Does it come preloaded?

Maybe the pro version comes with the game yellow8 and them found to be exploitable, with a slave slot containing the altered save file.

we already have a method for using Neimods & Yellows8 save exploit
either get a SaveDongle to dump and re-up the save or mutalate teh 3DS game that exploitable and dump the save using the program on a DS Phat or Lite
you cannot dump the save on a DSi or 3DS

What he is saying is, this could ship with an exploitable game and exploited save file.

i know what hes saying but it will most likely be cheaper to buy a save dongle for just the exploit

why would you want to buy a flashcard that will cost more than it does for the actual exploitable game and a SaveDongle

you all think Neimods hack will allow you to pirate games when hes doing it for homebrew so would lock out piracy methods

the save dongle currently requires you to take apart and ruin a ds game. The 3ds game cards don't fit in the current dongle. At least I seen post about this a million times on the temp.

Nem needs to get off is moral high horse. He's wasting his time trying to block pirates. Once his exploit is release and figured out, someone(s) will just replace it one day with his lock outs removed. And it could only take a homebrew channel with no such lockouts/blocks.

Thing is. Why would Neimod support using a pirated game for people to use a exploit which he specifically said doesn't support piracy?

Save dongle doesn't require you to modify anything. R4i Save Dongle is specifically for 3DS games.
