The hardware would be too expensive for reasons I would describe. Too many people would do the research when confronted with the price of a cart with a 4-8GB internal flash and onboard (however basic) CPU and find it is a ripoff. R4 clones are cheap.
the origional R4's where £80 and they sold like hot cakes, then came the clones, fakes knockoffs, they still all sold at high prices

._.
How odd...I feel nothing for this news. Possibly I've just lost interest in this sort of thing, but one person seems to be pulling information out from a magical hat, one person can't navigate websites, one doesn't like the thought due to lack of prior news, and for the amazing reason of "I felt like it", I have decided to say:
Congratz, there is another shit flashcart, as we have established this wonderful fact multiple times. Can we now wait until some useless sap buys it before continuing to speculate? Quite frankly, I would like to have one because it has a switch. I obviously have no use for such a switch with my awesome DSLite, but the thought of having a switch on a flashcart seems amusing to me. Now, if there were some flashing LED lights that could also change colors, I might even be sold on the idea.

From the FAQ in the flashcart's webpage. So I guess this really comes with a bootleg 3DS game, unchangeable by any means.
Linked from their site , none of the resellers detail any info regarding the 3DS element of this card , the specs listed on most of the reseller sites are :

Official Features

  • Work perfecrly on 3DS V4.5.0-10 and DSi V1.45
  • Support 3DSLL(XL)/3DS/DSILL(XL)/DSI/DSL/DS
  • Several built-in emulators including FC、GBC、GB、MD、NEOGEO, play different games.
  • Use the third generation chip, working faster and lower power consumption
  • Customized wood firmware for Ace3ds Plus, designed by Ace3ds team.
  • Support all the commercial roms and homebrews
  • Auto detect the game save data size.
  • Built-in DLDI Auto-Patching, auto patch homebrew.
  • Running different SD cards at high speed
  • Support SDHC. (2G, 4G, 8G, 16G, 32G)
  • Support Slot-2, GBA package, Rumble Pack and other devices.
  • Support Wifi game, Download play
  • Built-in multi-language
  • Different UI for choosing
  • Support soft reset
  • Support AR Cheat
  • Moonshell V2.10 attached in the ace3ds firmware.
So on the face of it it kinda suggests you get a DS loader and the 3DS baseball game . as theres no suggestion of any choice / options of that feature.

You guys are looking the Ace3DS+ features, not the Ace3DS Pro, which haven't been revealed yet.

I am used to working with chinese people and I perfectly understand the wording on the Ace3DS page.
look at the picture: it says "Ace3DS Pro = Ace3DS plus + ONE 3DS GAME = ". That's all.
It even says "one genuine 3DS game".

besides, derek the OP is actually chinese and lying about his location (US flag).
so probably just a stunt from ace3ds to get free publicity.

Thnaks for the explanation, now I have sure that is just to sell, not a flashcard like acekard 2i and dstwo.

I think you guys are speculating too much without anything solid, to prove your point.

Assuming that the OP is working for Ace3DS Team, and is trying to sell it just because he is chinese is way too much.

Also, the site doesn't give much information about this. Let's wait until more info comes, and then judge it by it's revealed features.

Wait, what do you mean? It's a flashcard, same as Acekard 2i and DSTwo.

This is true... And?
If they do actually do the research for alternatives they will find out that a hack is already in the works.
I'm just sayin' that whether a site is crap or not, there are people who do not know better (because they don't do research). I honestly think you're giving people too much benefit of the doubt. Even the the sites of some decent flashcarts don't really have good English from what I can remember.

Obviously some portion of people who see it will immediately buy it. Some people are like that. But most people will tell if something about the site feels iffy and will discover more before committing too much money to it.

Now this is interesting. It's not entirely unplausible that they came up with a way to flash a single 3DS ROM and be able to play it, but if it is like Costello says, that's very disappointing (and highly illegal)
That flashcart is going to be banned as soon as it's released if it contains a 3DS ROM. There's not much point in it if you can't flash new ROMs to it either, it just means one less cart to carry around (assuming the cart actually contains a game I want, and judging from the teaser video, it doesn't)

This, but with only 2 carts, one is a 3DS game and the other is a DS flashcart.

I had this idea a long time ago. Boot in ds mode to flash the 3DS game from the microSD into a dedicated memory.
Switch the flashcart to use this internal memory. You get your 3DS game.

Maybe it's the case of this stuff, or not. :P

from what I gather this card basically contains:
1) a regular NDS flashcard (ace3DS)
2) components/chips of one 3DS game.
so basically you have a 3DS game chip and an NDS flashcart into one cartridge.
and you switch between the two with a tiny physical switch.
(I edited the thread title since this isn't actually a 3DS flashcart)

is this interesting? I don't think this is interesting at all, since you can't apparently change/flash the 3DS game.

that's downright counterfeiting here (a bootleg 3DS game). I would stay away from this as much as possible.
It can not be flashable at all.
Costello, you are right.

The video seems legitimate. I plan on messaging my contact from the "ACE3DS" team to see what I can pull up. I've done the uh, other flashcart review for them as well.

Why?
Just buy the 3DS game if that is the case.
Because it'll be cheaper than retail I guess? Well it will involve more effort than what we are used to but with one cart, you can technically play every single game dumped. For the price of one flash cart, you'll never have to pay for games ever again (assuming Ninty doesn't incorporate some blocking mechanism in the coding or w/e and if he never updates his 3DS). I believe that is his logic behind his comment.

It will not be cheaper than retail if it just takes the guts of a retail copy and sticks them on another cart.
It is far more complicated than that, I described why.

Yeah but they're from China, so I won't be able to IM them until later. My main question is if it's a single game what do they plan to do with regions? If someone from the US ordered one, then they'd have to flash a US version of the game? Seems a little tedious.
