*you must update the channel aswell because the older versions won't work*

This version is alot more stable I've already tested it out myself all vids and subs seems to be working perfect from my ntfs usb hard-drive so i do recommend getting this straight away

I update (via WiiMC using a WiFi connection) and when I click on my channel from the Wii Menu, it stays at the "Loading Please Wait" screen.

Did the channel also got updated ? If not grab the latest channel installer and install it
it should fix your problem

Edit : Just to also sure did you access wiimc through hbc to be sure its updated successfully

same here. I use newest channel (uninstalled the old and installed the new) and newest wiimc. The Channel hangs at Loading, please wait.

can u guys try launching it via the HBC? If it loads via the HBC but not the WiiMC Forwarder Channel, then we can at least say WiiMC works fine, just the forwarder channel is busted.

Keep the updates coming WiiMC Team, your work is definitely appreciated here by most including me. WiiMC is the only media player (maybe even homebrew period) of its caliber for the Wii.

so sorry it was not meant that way..(but every time wiimc has release something, somebody got there HDD smash and etc. i personally has never got any problems with wiimc before now)

Why would you reupload these to megaupload? I'd really prefer that people just link to the Downloads page, or even to the files directly on Google's servers.

Sorry i dont understand is it through hbc or forwarder channel ?
hbc works for me
forwarder channel works (you must update it to latest)

Hey tantric i made a comment on your site about the screen saver thing i left for about ten mins then when i tried to play a video file its say error cant open file tried to go back folders same error then it went to the main menu and usb was gone
my usb drive is fine but when i turned my wii off and turned it on again and load wiimc channel & hbc but usb is still not there and tried to exit black screen, i had to delete the wiimc files and extract the files from the download in order to get it working again
