Yeah seems unlikely that they would with an update like this anyway. Wii mode doesn't get touched even the new hold b to enter vWii at bootup feature is all done through the Wii U OS.

Who ever said SD card doesn't work on smash is chatting rubbish.

Smashstack works on vWii on WiiU update 3.0.0 without issue.

Took me <2 mins to boot it up and install HBC.

Smash Stack exploit requires a non-SDHC card. These are usually lower end, lower size, older cards. The only one I have that is non SDHC is a 2GB one from a bunch of years ago. Most new ones are SDHC and will not work for the exploit. My guess is that whoever said that meant to actually say that SDHC didn't work, not that SD itself didn't work. I can confirm the Smash Stack exploit still works 100% on the latest system update with a supported SD card.

I did notice after the update I had to unplug my Wii HD with my backups before I could delete anything from my Wii U console....I don't remember doing that before the update....

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol

I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
