Hey Guys!

I am trying to dump my cIOS rev10 (original Waninkoko) into a WAD to easily install it on more Wiis, but when I try doing it using WAD Creator, it tells me:

QUOTE said:
[+] Mounting device, please wait... OK!

[+] Creating WAD file, please wait...

>> Extracting content #16 (size: 7840 bytes)...
ERROR! (ret = -1017)

Press any key to continue...

I tried dumping to four USB devices, two SDs and one SD Gecko adaptor without any success.
Does that happen to anybody else or is it just me?
If it works for s.o. else, I'd appreciate sending me the cIOS rev10 WAD file!

I know about the method of putting the genuine IOS36 file on the SD but that's not what I want to do; I want it as WAD, if possible.

Witaj,

Yes this way dont work by a random problem.
But you can make a cIOS Wad.

You need:
Trent Fox´s Wad Packer
Waninkoko´s FS_dumper
SD Card.

At first install the cIOS (doesnt matter if Wad or Network).
Then dump your nand with the fs dumper

Now:
Trent Fox Wad Packer just reads
WII_FS\TITLE0010001 (the folder with the 0000000.app, TMD and more) and the Ticket you can find in:
WII_FS\TICKET0010001\

You have to copy the right things into this folders.
Then in Trent Fox Wad Packer something like Firmware, Waninkoko or something should appear but packing WILL FAIL.
It is a little error in the 00000000.app
You have to edit it before.
Open it with text editor should look like this:
waninkoko RVL.0810250035 (
