No matter what I do or what I change, vWii game forwarder WADs softlock the console on a black screen

I have tried:

• Forwarding to the games through USB Loader GX (the games run perfectly through the loader itself)
• Forwarding to the games through WiiFlow (the games run perfectly through this loader, too)
• Converting them for vWii usingConvert2vWii
• Converting them for vWii using WiiForwarder2vWii
• Not converting them for vWii at all
• Forwarding to games on the SD card
• Forwarding to games on a USB hard drive
• Dumping games using USB Loader GX
• Dumping a game using CleanRip
• Creating WADs with Crap (old version of WiiGSC)
• Creating WADs with WiiGSC
• Downloading game forwarder WADs from online
• Editing the .dol files of the WADs using CustomizeMii
• Creating new .dol files using ModMii
• Bashing my head against the wall
• Installing WADs using Wii Mod Lite
• Installing WADs using YAWM ModMii Edition
• Waiting several hours on the softlocked black screen in the vague hope something will somehow change
• Wiping the vWii's NAND using vWii Decaffeinator and trying the WADs without CIOSs
• Reinstalling the CIOSs except IOS80
• Reinstalling IOS80

I don't know what else I could possibly try to get game forwarder WAD channels to work. I just want to click on the channels and have them actually load the games. Please send help.
