I know that, I just wish simple game support updates wont take so long.
And feature ones take even longer

Ok it's still nothing to get too upset over.

Also it's 358/2 days not 356/2

I'm not really upset

I just couldn't resist posting this topic after seeing all those updates for touchpod and not for sakura...
It just demands it

KH 358/2 works fine on the latest sakura firmware if u just hex edit. i'm lazy too but its is actually surprisingly easy to hex edit if you follow instructions. just go to the kh 358/2 discussion ah never mind I'll just quote the guy. remember im a super noob and this was really easy for me my kh works perfectly. here u go
How to manually hex edit KH rom:

1: Google and download a program called XVI32. This is the hex editor I used.

2: Open your KH rom.

3: At the top click address, then click goto, then click hexidecimal.

4: Type 010E5DC into the box and click ok.

5: The first block should be highlighted and have 0C in it.

6: At the top click edit, click overwrite string, click hex string, in the bottom box type 37 and click ok.

7: Where it said 0C in the first box it should now say 37.

8: Click file, then click save.

9: Put the file you just saved on your flash cart and enjoy

o and plz dont say im an idiot or anything i am just trying to help. have fun

Guess thats what ill do for now...
And switch to a clean rom once a sakura version that supports it, comes out.

Its funny how small of a change it is to crack this game's protection.
Its like laughing at their faces.

What's wrong with using patched ROMs? It's a slight inconvenience, but at least it makes the game work.
Save DB's that dont have those patched roms game code(checksums) in them

Yah but they have to fix alot of games and test alot too. Plus this isn't always true for some games like Mario and Luigi 3.

@Xdqwerty, People who create revival services for the Wii end up in disaster, same goes for Pretendo lol.

@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii

At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

Remember when RiiShop was a thing?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    not really
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
