Talk about your signature. What it is, why you picked it, and so forth...

Well, I guess I could say that the one word about my signature is, is OBVIOUS.

I love George Carlin (god rest is soul), and he's discussing abortion (first track off of his CD "Back In Town"), very funny guy, who turns THE OBVIOUS on its ear. If anyone would like to hear some of this stuff, just YouTube it and you'll find it in a heartbeat. If you want something a little more permanent, PM me.

Chime in people!!!

My signature is a very small one just the two CardTags I use. Nothing else.

Main purpose is reminding people to regulary backup stuff. So many threads about failed and corrupted SDs, lost savegames... Fromt the main topics on GBAtemp it is most of the time "just" not very important (yes, it feels different for the person at that certain moment) gaming data, but next time it might hit them even worse.
"Backup your data!" can't be said too often.

Could not omit a very shortened and oversimplified note summarizing my personal life.

signatures are for noobs
If that's true, then the same must be said of avatars. Signatures are simply for people who want to use them, just like people who use avatars. No harm in that, eh?

I've always liked forum signatures. When I first joined I ended up hotlinking a bunch of Charmander sprites, until someone reported me for having 3px too wide of a signature on the forum :rofl2:

So I decided to make a nicer signature, with all the Charmander sprites. And include some extra stuff that I enjoy. Two of my favorite games, along with a sprite art background of the Houston skyline. It's messy but I like it :D

My signatures were always just random quotes I found amusing at the time.
I used to change them from time to time but I recently I can't be arsed.
You can see the current one. I liked it because I like most forms of dirigibles and would like to see more of them around, but unfortunately, when thinking of dirigibles, most people either think "slow" or "on fire."

Sometimes yeah but it doesn't seem to be a super common thing, mostly just like a "whoops, some labels for the wrong record got mixed into the stack somehow, nobody noticed, then someone else further down the process went wait how did album B get mixed in with album A, let me put those in the right pile" sort of thing.

In the distant past before all these fancy solid state electronic gizmos, there were segmented displays with tiny lamps under each segment instead of one backlight and then an LCD overlay.
