according to sciresM in the reswitched discord, the switch cfw exosphere is able to boot to the home menu. this is great news for people wanting cfw, as it means hackers are making great progress in creating one.

I love that way to boot that cfw.
I just hope this would lead to allow outdated console to play newest games while being able to keep homebrews
or custom theme colour but this is really really useless xD

The CFW is called "Atmosphere". Exosphere is only the TrustZone re-implementation.

Yes, I think the goal now is to boot into a higher firmware then the system has, that has been modified to not have security features.
