Hardware Sliver of light on 2DS XL bottom screen - is this common?

There’s a sliver of light on the bottom screen of my 2DS XL, on the right side. It’s bright enough that it radiates out even on a dark screen. Is this a defect?

I hate that I keep noticing problems with my 2DS XL.

Yes, that's perfectly normal. Same thing is found on N3DSXL with TN panels. If you notice this line of light when looking at the screen straight ahead in normal use, then it's considered defective.

That's typical of TN screens.

I dropped mine and I now see the light on the edge. I think the screen slightly moved off where the factory sealed it
