Quick Bell Hacker has figured out how to change the title boot music supposedly.
I've been using a theme since around September or so. No issues. I don't know what's been causing issues for others. If you have a bad connection, use rosalina.also which is safer ftp or rosalina
I was able to extract the Wii U-menu sound, when I edit it and test it in sdcafiine and rednand and cemu it just crash : (Anyone tried custom background music?
Just ftp them to the right location. The location is in the op.Thanks a lot but how to install these theme ?
Tested with Rosalina and it work. Thanks a lot !!!Just ftp them to the right location. The location is in the op.
Nice work!!!Hey GBATemp!
It seems like there is some interest for theming, so I decided to make my own theme manager, it's currently in a very early state, but it works and it's much better than rosalina or doing it manually, you can have multiple themes at the same time.
Themes are located in sd:/wii/themes/[theme name]
inside [theme name] put the Men.pack and MEn2.pack files
Please use it and let me know what you think, it's totally safe to use
Use the one I attached or get the latest build from github: https://github.com/Xpl0itU/theme-manager/releases
Nice work!!!
I tested ftp'ing themes a week ago or so, since so many people were bricking with tiramisu. I wasn't sure if it was tiramisu or not. anyway, I had no problems until I tried to revert back. not sure what happened, but when I tried reverting back to the dark, blue theme, the system bricked. it would freeze on the wiiu logo, so I went into the homebrew channel and corrected it. no issues now. what's odd is that the byte size was correct when that brick happened as I always check that. Thanks so much guys! I made a new release and a release post, so go there and give it some love https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-theme-manager-a-theme-manager-for-the-wii-u.611112/
You shouldn’t have any issues with theme manager, it shares a lot of code with the wut port of savemii, which is really safe and never had any problemsI tested ftp'ing themes a week ago or so, since so many people were bricking with tiramisu. Why is there just 1 file? I can only see just Men2.pack here. I guess Men.pack is missingHere is the Rainbow theme v7 just upload it there
I assume one is for the normal screen and one is for wara wara plaza, so a men.pack may not be needed. Why is there just 1 file? I can only see just Men2.pack here. I guess Men.pack is missing
Not exactly. Both files have elements that affect both the menu screen as well as the wara wara plaza screen. The person that made the rainbow theme, just appears to not have made any changes to the elements of men.pack, it still functions as it's own theme all the same.I assume one is for the normal screen and one is for wara wara plaza, so a men.pack may not be needed.
