Wow I go to lunch and come back to 10 new pages of people making things more complicated than they need to be.

Points about GameCube injection:
  • All you need to provide is your game in gcm format, icon and banner files
  • Base Homebrew ISO for injection is included in the script
  • Nintendont forwarder DOL is included in the script
  • No extra DOL files need to be placed in the SOURCE_FILES for GameCube injection
  • The latest Nintendont from github needs to be placed on your SD Card: SD:\apps\nintendont\
To auto-boot your game, configure the options to auto-boot and choose the Disk option in the SD card menu.
We are talking about autoboot, boot the game within the Wii VC wrapper, without need having the iso in the SD. With the actual script itsn't possible, because as FIX said you need replace the .dol inside the GCN .iso

The game within the VC Wrapper can be auto-booted, but you have to configure nintendont for it. You choose SD because Nintendont always has to hook the SD card, and then choose the top option that says built in disk to launch the game. When you press B to go to the options there is an auto-boot option, and whenever you launch a GameCube injected VC title it will launch whatever ISO is built into the title.

@FIX94 might be able to clarify better, otherwise I'll just make a video at some point.

updated my nintendont but now i get an error saying no boot.elf found. any help please
Mine is saying that as well on a black screen. Ive got the latest boot.dol file in apps/Nintendont...

I know the reason its because you may have a meta.xml file on your Nintendont folder on your sd card it causes errors. Just leave your folder with the boot.dol file in it.

Ah, gotcha. Got it working, I'm testing Mario Sunshine and the boot up and intro are slow, is it normal?
