Hey, I've got a question. So I'm playing 3d Mario World, and I'm at a level on the first world where I've got to rotate the screen and collect a bunch of stars on a single screen. I know that you've got to use the 'blow the mic' feature on the gamepad, to change the level of the platforms either up or down. However, when I press the key on my keyboard to do this, the platform always rises and never falls, so I can't proceed in the level and ultimately I run out of time. So what should I do here?

Thanks.

Hi,here is a new version of "WiiU launcher" that i created specially for the amazing Cemu

- added auto wud/wux icons extracting ( using Cemu commandline switches )
- added game title preview on mouse over
- added full screen mode support ( using Cemu commandline switches )
- added a wiiu style page indicator
- added buton 2 remove previously added games folders
- changed the way icons are created inside the launcher , as a result : "hand" cursor applied when moved over games icons
- changed settings view

- the launcher will try to creat icons for Wud , Wux and rpx files automatically
note : title key must be present in keys.txt for icon extracting
- Once an icon is created / edited , The launcher WILL NOT RECREAT IT again
- icons for any other extention must be created manually , the launcher will try to load them from theese locations :
1 - file path\file name.file ext.jpg
2 - file path\file name.file ext.bmp
3 - file path\file name.jpg
4 - file path\file name.bmp
5 - Launcher Dir\Net Sparro Launcher\icons\file name.file ext.jpg
6 - Launcher Dir\Net Sparro Launcher\icons\file name.file ext.bmp
7 - Launcher Dir\Net Sparro Launcher\icons\file name.jpg
8 - Launcher Dir\Net Sparro Launcher\icons\file name.bmp

hello. I've recently started using CEMU, the latest version (1.7.0) and I'm trying to get xenoblade chronicles x to work. I was able to boot the game but it has a lit of glitches. The opening movie was flashing non stop like a broken record. I was able to skip it but when I got to the character customization page, its a mess.

Now I'm trying to get name registration to work... but to no avail. Anyway my point is, are there actually better updates or whatever to increase FPS speed or show the FMV's and stuff? Many youtube videos were able to show them fine, I just didn't know how. Plus when I try checking the graphic pack xenoblade chronicles X (1080) it says I have missing meta.xml or something. Any help is appreciated.

That's indeed an issue in XBC, you can get the name registration to work by making Cemu lose its "focus", for example, in the name registration you need to press "Ctrl + Alt + Del" and open the "Task Manager", afterwards you can close the "Task Manager" and get back to Cemu and the name registration will start working. That's how I get it to work and it works everytime for me.

Hi thanks. I was able to at least go past the registration. Now we're back to the problem I expected since I realized that the opening FMV was like a broken record.

I've just started using 1.7.1 Cemu. Much obliged for anyone who can help me find a way to fix the graphics or the FPS.

Wow, for 1.7.1 I get a hundred times better performance in the menu for Wind Waker! In game I have noticed a huge improvement. Hyrule Castle, Dragon Roost Island, Outset Island and many parts of the sea no longer drops below 10 FPS and stays there. Now it is usually only at stormy parts crowded with monsters, boasts etc.

anyone having slow fps when using transferable shadercache? sometimes it get 10+fps slower , but with self generated cache games run at almost fullspeed.
strangely it happens for some particular game only, for example wind waker, xenoblade both suffer from this, mario kart, 3d world seems no impact, haven't check other game yet, think shadercache function still needs some improvement though

I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I really would like to make a hack that I would enjoy playing, and maybe other people would too. swapping to the EU version would also mean my US friends could not legally play it
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
    I appreciate the insight!
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@TwoSpikedHands just switch, all the knowledge you learned still applies and most of the code and assets should be the same anyway
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    and realistically they wouldn't

be able to play it legally anyway since they need a ROM and they probably don't have the means to dump it themselves

why the shit does the shitbox randomly insert newlines in my messages
  • Veho @ Veho:
It does that when I edit a post.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It inserts a newline in a random spot.

never had that i don't think

do y'all think having an sd card that has a write speed of 700kb/s is a bad idea?
trying to restore emunand rn but it's taking ages... (also when I finished the first time hekate decided to delete all my fucking files )
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@Karma177 that sd card is 100% faulty so yes, its a bad idea
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the slowest non-sdhc sd cards are a few MB/s
  • Karma177 @ Karma177:
@The Real Jdbye it hasn't given me any error trying to write things on it so I don't really think it's faulty (pasted 40/50gb+ folders and no write errors)
