I present to you CEMU, world's first Wii U emulator capable of running and rendering commercial games!

Quick facts:
  • Can run encrypted Wii U images (WUD) and RPX/RPL files
  • Internal resolution is 1920x1080 (if supported by game)
  • Contains only some optimizations. Expect slow framerates and long load times.
  • Windows 7 or above (x64) (other platforms may be supported later)
  • Requires OpenGL 4.0
    • Tested on NVIDIA and AMD: Runs fine on most recent driver
    • Intel graphic cards are not supported.
Changelog:
The changelog can be found here

Download:

Link for most recent version of Cemu is now on Cemu's website

...Holy shit.

EDIT: I'm still keeping my Wii locked to 5.5.0. Since the exploit exists but isn't public. I really want to rip my games now to test this once that exploit comes out.

Why is the source code only available to download and not in the actual git repo to browse on github?

Holy crap, today is my birthday, and no better way to start it with the announcement of a Wii U emulator lol, i thought this was going to be another troll who claimed "hurr durr here is the wii u emulator that can load xone rames, hurr durr, i'm legit plz belvme". Excellent work, i'm kinda astonished that someone managed to do something like this, very good job, and i hope to see more updates in a future ;)

Edit: Crashes very frequently, but we seem to make it a little further each time :P
