Dunno if you guys already know this, but when you go into the Quest Menu and then goes back, the game freezes.
I dont know if this only happens to me, cuz i use R4DS last version (1.18)

It has no specific on which quest, it just crashes on the sub-quest menu.
And I experience crashes even when just accessing menu. It happens to me after the hunting of the red dragon quest with the mage Rishiel.

Next to note is Rishiel, I was trying to change her job to wizard, so I had to proceed to mjolnir mines to get the book of abstinence, as soon as I reaches the mine, no matter where I access the menu, it will give me the black screen of death but music playing smoothly.

I just wanted to say a quick thank you for all the people who are contributing to this translation project! Ragnarok has been one of my favorite games since I started playing it in beta. Thanks so much for making this happen in English!! =)

Hi, good job on the translation so far.

I'm reporting a bug.
I'm using the 21st Jan translation.

I'm trying to change Viselc (the thief) into assassin, but there is 2 problem.
1. the quest didn't trigger when I walk into the thief guild. And even after I talked to the NPC, nothing happens. (his status is "close" and his job lvl is higher than 30)
2. When I talked to Viselc on the Guild HQ, it crash after the first scene. (after the sentence "ares once you finish with") The game just freeze at that sentence.

I already finished the story line btw. Don't know if that has effects or not.

I hope this is detailed enough...

This is not a bug. -.-

If you have any active side-quest on, then you can't trigger the cut-scene.

Thank you to all who have submitted bug reports, namely oOTidusOo who's sent in a bunch.

Here is a small list of the reported bugs that have been fixed:

"Mandoraga" -> "Mandragora"
"This isProntera" -> "This is Prontera"
"Geffen,huh..." -> "Geffen, huh..."
"Isn't that the called the city of magic?" -> "Isn't that the city of magic?"
"we'll get lots of a requests, right?" -> "we'll get lots of requests, right?"
"
Then I'll be on my way." & "
Nah, I'll pass." Removed Ares (proper: Ales) saying his name.

Boss Monsters in Yushidora Cave are not Masterings they are indeed Giant Porings.
??? = Poring
????? = Giant Poring
?????? = Giant Drainliar
?????????? = Giant Elder Willow
While I do not read Japanese, I would have to assume, since there are no Boss types for Drainliar or Elderwillow, that ?? = Giant or Huge or some other way of saying "Big".

As for the issue with the Quest Info screen causing people to crash, I hope to have the file totally re-written sometime tomorrow night and will put up a patch as soon as I can


Keep the bugs coming.. no matter how small.

The loot that you get from the Thief Bug I think should be Worm Peeling. Bug Legs are from Argiopes

well this is based upon RO stock knowledge (X3) and the item descriptions in RO-DS.

It should be Worm Peelings (though its odd that you get them from a non-worm like bug/monster

This is not a bug. -.-

If you have any active side-quest on, then you can't trigger the cut-scene.

I know this. And I don't think I have any side-quest active at that time.

Anyhow, it still shouldn't crash when I talk to Viselc.
