FBI black screen

Hi, I have a problem with FBI. When I start the application, the screen goes completely black and I have to turn off the console by pressing the off button for a few seconds. It has happened several times, it does not always happen, is this normal? I have the latest version (2.6.1), and the micro sd is verified with h2testw.

What version is your 3DS on?
Are you still using arm9loaderhax, or any other outdated exploit?

I don't know what arm9loaderhax is. I am a complete newbie. I hacked the 3ds a few days ago following the step by step guide on this page. So, I have everything up to date. It's an old 3DS xxl, and I had it stored for years without using it. This has happened only 3 times. What happens is that it is a bit scary to see that the console does not respond. By the way, I use microsd 64gb with adapter.

Yes. Anyway, if it happens again, I will uninstall fbi and reinstall it. I have seen a video on youtube on how to do it using hombrew launcher.

Install Universal-Updater to install fbi. Since you can't access fbi at all, you'd have to use the ".3dsx" version of Universal-Updater (using the homebrew launcher) to install it, and then run it to install fbi again.
If you don't have the Homebrew Launcher installed, launch the DP app and do the button combo to access Rosalina Menu, and then click on "switch to hb app" quit DP and launch again to acc Homebrew Launcher (of course you'd need it's.3dsx file to be on sd:/apps folder).
As for the black screen issue with fbi, does it happen only with fbi? And not with other games, hb apps etc? And i take your word for the sd being tested with h2testw
