It fits pretty well. It has a little bit of catch, but its nothing like the DS2's ♫you-can-check-in-but-you-can-never-leave♫ feature.
The R4i-SDHC card is fine in term of inserting/ejecting from the 3DS, i don't know about battery consumption because I've never used it on my 3DS (I was almost forget I had it until I heard about NTRBoot

The Gateway Blue card is good in size and consumption that's why I use it for the few NDS games i still wanna play.

Ok guys, apparently the new ak2i_ntrcardhax_flasher will work with my card, but it says I wont be able to restore its ability to play nds games without a backup. So are there any backups for the r4i-sdhc 1.4.2(not sure if the 1.4.2 part matters) from r4i-sdhc.com? The game it appears as on the menu is Alex Rider Stormbreaker.
Unless someone with the same cart (stock) and an already modded o3ds/n3ds can use ntrboot_flasher and take a backup of the cart? then you could write it back after a successful ntrboot flash using ntrboot_flasher and the backup sent to you? (not without risk though, of course?)
I don't know if the card works with the flasher. It's officially only for r4i 3ds RTS cards by r4i-sdhc.com.

Did you tried the r4i-b9s NDS NOR backup ? if you flashed your card using the NTRBoot NOR backup sucessfully then the NDS one must be good too.
Both have the same hardware.
But I'm not sure if the r4i-sdhc.com card doesn't have the timebomb.

Well about wich card are you talking about? Is it dumpable? Maybe take a dump from another card?
