Hacking R4i-B9S flashcart: tested and impression

Dont have another working flashcart of any kind

If you have a 3DS with working B9S then use an NDS-forwarder (for example : https://github.com/Robz8/SRLoader/releases ) to boot the fix, not sure it will work but it should.

Oh yeah, that's what I did to upgrade my R4i Ultra with the acekard upgraders without a second console.

r4i-sdhc.bin is 4MB. It has 2MB for b9s and 2MB for nds.
The option should be there to flash it back to b9s. It's detected automatically.

That is the card that is a clone of the r4i-b9s. It's $6 cheaper too.
Better snag it before they jack the price up. Won't be pre-flashed of course, but by the time it arrives at your house I'm sure the ntrboot flasher team will have the ds-mode self-flasher done.

but, Acekard 2i can be in DS mode and B9S mode in the same time without need to reflash it each time.
sure it's more expansive then this, but there is no need to reflash it each time.

They've been blocked on 3ds since 4.4 though. You would need a hacked 3ds, <= 1.4.4 dsi, or DS to flash the thing.
Unless it came b9s pre-flashed, ... then it would be pretty awesome.

Try and dump it with angelsl's dumper. If you get something that looks like a valid firmware then your card is likely supported.
(it kinda looks that way already)

Afaik Blue Card is a very bad made acekard 2i clone.

That's why i asked, some blue cards are flashable for some reason.

Kind of, it is actually Ace3DS clone, which is an R4i Gold clone, which is an Ak2i clone.

I'm curious. Could you take an SDHC 2017 card and flash it with the b9s r4i firmware? Correct me if I'm wrong, I've been out of the sdhc b9s stuff since august.

Do it doesn't seem like my cart works, so here's my backup
