Hacking Preloader 0.28, finally out!

Hey i had preloader .27 installed and i installed .28, but when i try to edit my setting, it gives me a syntax error.
"Syntax error: missing "[" before "n" at line 5" Did anyone else get this?

Make sure you have no empty spaces in between your hacks like this:

After updating to .28, I'm getting this EXACT message when selecting Systemmenu Hacks from preloader:

Updated from preloader .27 to .28
Used Same hacks.ini as .27

Used Hack Remover from HBC - same message above

Went ahead and installed .27 again - preloader .27 showed hacks fine
Updated again to .28 - same issue with message above

Has anybody else tested with NTSC?

Is there a downloadable version yet or just wifi update from .27/.26?

how does preloader handle the autoboot dol? Is is copied to nand like hacks.ini, or will it just run from sd?

Yes it gets installed into the shared2 folder inside the NAND, and the remover or the shared2 cleaner removes the hacks.ini and the .dol installed, and only a few ones work, I think someone advice crediar to check the hash sign of the .dol files, and prevent to run them from preloader, if you know what I mean...!!!

BTW: And about moving the Disc Channel I have no problems at all

i was just wondering how can i remove the preloader if i ever don't want to use it anymore.

ok, that's what i thought. i was puzzled because some people were talking about Hack Removers and reinstallig th SystemMenu.wad you have to make earlier.

the hack remover deletes the hack.ini file and autoboot dol from nand.
i think just re-installing the menu wouldn't delete those files.

So i have to use HackRemover THEN reinstall SystemMenu v3.2E with ARC to get rid of PreLoader.
Or reinstall and then remove the hacks?

Sorry for the double post but can someone tell me what useful programs actually work when loaded from nand by preloader? I have tried wadmanager but it code dumps on me.........I would like something installed to help in case of a brick/semi brick.

When I had to reinstall preloader (after a failed installation) I first restored the system menu. Not with region changer though, I just reinstalled the system menu wad using wad manager. After that, I used the hack remover. That seemed to work, it said it had succesfully removed the files

Any Title Deleter is a good one to have in case of a banner-brick. You'll get out of most things though by being able to launch straight into HBC from Preloader...

this is how I got it:

Download the correct update disc iso (Pay attention to the region!!) http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=123...p;#entry1644044
Open that iso with either Trucha Signer or WiiScrubber 1.3. Open the iso and extract the file
it's in \partition\root\sys

What about the hacks.ini? i really want the shutdown/standby hack but do not know the details to add to my now working .28 hacks.ini.
