@SanGor

But I am noticing now that 2 offsets may refer to the same value while others have their own particular values (I don't understand it, but this is what I observe). Wouldn't there be a problem with which value refers to which offset in the "list" format? If it works, it works, but I just want to be sure.

I believe there shouldnt be 2 of the same offsets, unless you are comparing 2 different versions. Does 289 & 290 share some of the same offsets? If so, then thats where you may see the different values.

Re-read my post - I said that there are two of the same VALUES that refer to different offsets (well I phrased it differently).

Well if the value just refers to the hack as being set to ENABLED or DISABLED, I suggest before you change your hacks.ini, just disable everything, save the settings and then change your hacks.ini to the new format and then enable all the hacks you choose. Of course, I could be wrong.

tomm2cool, I actually agree with your method of making the new hacks.ini because it makes sense to me, and m-tek did it the same way. Would be nice to get clarification from the author, but this sounds right.

Probably the offsets are changed.
All my channels WW or those based on WW.wad have disappeared from the wii system menu.
Thats very odd MAFIA, but if you can just disable all the hacks you have enabled now and try to load a new hacks.ini in the new format that matches your region hacks and then just enable them again, maybe that may help.

Will there be a direct link for the download, as it stands I don't have preloader installed, and if I try to download it off the no-ip website, I get a .rar file that tells me it's out of date

Try this link to Remove preloader hacks

I have try to remove hack.ini and put a new hack.ini for PAL console, but the problem is the same.

Does your new hacks.ini for PAL look like this? (This is one I made in the new format. I copied it from Wiinewz) See if it works for you and remember to disable your old hacks before installing this one (And remember its hacks.ini not hack.ini):

If you install a dol to be used as autoboot, how can you remove that file afterwards from the wii memory?
or does it just read the autboot dol from sd?

No, from what I've read, there would be no point, because that's the time it takes for the wii remote to sync to the console anyways. I'd imagine that CSSM or dashboard might have a solution for this but that's just speculation.

the systemmenu needs that time to load the channels, so would you prefer a black screen over a nice animation ?
