ROM Hack Pokemon Black and White English Translation

Actually, that guy's an asshole. Not kidding.

I know he's kind of a jerk, but he's not the one continuing the project.

Well, a little update on my earlier situation:

-Save file is fine. Removing the .sav file and creating a new one from the game results in the same problem after character creation is done. Same with every back up I have saved.
-The game itself seems to be fine, too. I even got out a clean file and redid the patching. Same problems.
-The firmware is exactly as it was when the game was working. Nothing is changed.

I have no idea what has gone wrong. If theres something I've overlooked, I can't think of it. The conditions are exactly as they were when the game was working, based on the points above. It seems to be some sort of conflict with the game environments - Character creation is fine, the Battle Tournament and Game Sync options in the main menu open without a problem (though I can't test them, due to lack of Wi-fi)...I'm all out of ideas.

i just got this working using the alternative patcher for some weird reason xdelta didn't work for me at all, well that water under the bridge,

my newest problem is setting up cheats. i use the m3sakura firmware and when i go to set up cheats it does locate the cheats for the game (pocket monsters black) and i activate them and chose "instant codes" log into the game, but suddenly the screen goes all black and it doesn't load to the main menu of the game.
my question is: does the patched game not allow cheats to run?
or do i need to patch the game with something else to get cheats to run?​

Played through most of the game already, and on 7th Gym i believe which is the ice gym, and another untranslated part I found was the beauty contests.

I can use cheats fine, then again, I'm using a DSONEi.
Though, the horrible lag is back with a vengeance, movement is slowed, and takes a long time to fly anywhere. Battles are fine. I should probably reformat again :\

Sorry if this has been asked before but, does the trading and stuff work in v7? In v3 or 4 (can't remember) when i tried to enter the union room or what ever it said "this spikey eared pichu is not allowed in the union room" or something.

Event pokemon are normally NOT allowed to be traded, there's a ribbon that blocks trading, too.

Ok so, I haven't used my R4 in a very long time, and being that this topic contains a.... large amount of posts, I feel it would just be faster to ask. When I try to load the game it hangs on a white screen. Now forever ago when I used my R4, there was a solution to this most of the time, simply because I had messed up somewhere along the way. But I can't remember what I did to fix said issue back then, and I followed the instructions step by step, yet still am left with a white screen. Could anyone help me in my time of need?

The initial dump of Pokemon Black was corrupt. You need to get the good dump.

Or you could use Rudolph's v2 patch. You can find it in the first post in Troubleshooting.
