...
lol.

Umm, so there hasn't been much going on here recently.
I'm thinking of learning PAlib and the AceKard GUI code (or trying to) to make a mini-app for it, possily even the same thing.
Then we'll have two versions, still havn't thought of a good reason though...

EDIT: Stupid quotes...

Dude it would be awesome if you can just pick what type you want. Like below the picture. There's a choice. Sprite|Drawing| and under Sprite Male|Female

Actually, a thing like that has already been implemented...
Type is displayed on the top screen and Wabsta's menu...
Team demo!

Hi all,
Sorry, I haven't made any progress in a long time...
I was kinda busy.
With school, and my gf and stuff, and I just got my new Wii.

But I'm going to work on it again tommorow

The menu glitch, still isn't fixed.
I though I had it fixed, but it didn't work...
So I'll try to fix it... AGAIN. tommorow.

HELLO its suppose to be a pokedex i like the idea of this homebrew keep it up

why do you need a homebrew of a pokedex? u can just go to to pokemon site and why would u need one
Hello?
You could go to your friends, showing off your Pokédex, that's actually installed on you Nintendo DS. Duh.

J/k...
If you can play any game on the PC (like, emulators), why would we need a snes emulator on the DS?
u can just go to emulator folder to start so why would you need one

Actually if you compare this pokedex to other pokedex's online this is a tad better since "FROM THE DATA I HAVE GATHERED"

It will include these features

Information
Extended Information
Mini-Games (including Who's That Pokemon?!?!?)
Pictures/Drawings
Locations (which is good since pokedex's online just give the routes while we show them in the map)

Thats all i can think of really.

BUT It would be awesome if we have this feature.

Team Builder with sorter.
- Assembles a team for you.
- Filters what you need.
ex.
Please type in what you need.
1 water type
- Rare
- Powerful
3 dragon type
- Rare
- Awesome
1 Grass type
- Common
- Weak
1 Rock type
- Uncommon
- Strong

So Here is the legend.

1 Rock type -------------------------- Type of pokemon.
- Uncommon ----------------------- Rarity of the pokemon.
- Strong ---------------------------- Strength of the pokemon.

After she filtered it out. We have a system that builds a team. Then all he/she has to do is to click the pokemon to see the info and where she can find one.

Its a pain to code but its awesome right?

Actually, if its in a database (probobly outside of the .nds file for maximum customisability) Then its reletively easy to search and apply a filter to the results.
And with save reading, it could make the pokedex on your game save 100% so you could play with a full pokedex, but thats unfair and stuff... and hard...

With an external database you could also make a berrydex, an itemdex and maybe even other games's dexes,
(like a virus dex for megaman, or a noise/item dex for TWEWY)

So, Wabsta, can you give me a screenshot of the Dex? I'd like to know what is displayed when, say, I want to see Spearow, or something else, (not legendary of course).

Also, some sidenotes should be placed to replace the map when you want to see starters, and legendaries, like which version can you get them, how to get them, since it's practically impossible to show us the location of Entei, it's plain lol, and Celebi too

Pokemon has so many variables to be noted :sigh: can't we just have the old 1-type-1-evolution? Eevee is overused.

And it would be better if we can have voice over, like in the movie
laugh.gif
, nah, it's impossible except the homebrew is 128MB
