Would it be possible to make a pokemon style theme for a slot1 card and then put a pokedex button on the menu that would access this?
It wouldn't be a needed feature but would be kool to see it
Maybe for open source firmware, like the Acekard 2/R.P.G.
And a Pokemon style theme would be okay. I'm fine on my red dragon that came with my scds1

@wabsta: I finished the font, hope it works. If it doesn't then I'll be sad.

Google Chrome screwed up again, and now I'm working on an invisible tab.

What else do I need to help with? Or is nothing left to do?

QUOTE
@Alex: yea, I know all these bugs.
The thing with the "e" is because I made it an "é". And the é isn't in the font..
so, well....

does this means the bug is still there? I can't find the "é" in the font you posted, just asking
tongue.gif
Well, that's basically because the default one had no "é."

Ooh, though I don't see myself using this (sorry!), it does have great potential. You can even go kinda in-depth with this, and make it a sort of universal Pokedex. Where to catch in all games, and lots of information on the critter.

You can even include IV stats for each one, and so on.

Moves learned, etc...

I like the idea, best of luck on it!

Don't ask and it may come faster.

I'm not supposed to say anything... at all.

But yeah, that's a good suggestion, list the Natures, but have them like: Bad Natures - Average Natures - Good Natures(and change the words, what I said is just to organize it.

We always get loads of suggestions.
We'll incorperate them, just its more work. Remember that every suggestion is times 493, plus alternate forms, and EVEN GENDERS IN SOME CASES! So, please at least help if you're gonna suggest.

I just started my first homebrew project.
It's a pokédex, so you can browse all your favorite pokémon on your DS!
And because that's quite ueseless (but fun for children), it will probable going to have "where to catch in which game" things and stuff like that.

Here is a very early alpha screenshot:

And here, is a very early Beta screenshot:

And here is the link to my development "blog":
http://pokedexds.wabsta.com

7september, what is the Pokédex capable of now?
  • First 9 Pokémon are viewable.
  • Scroll through them using buttons, or touchscreen.
  • Different descriptions for different regions.
  • Switch through the regions using buttons on the touchscreen.
  • Description, name, number, and type is shown for every pokémon.
  • A main menu, however, due a bug, you can't go back from the dex to the menu.
  • Credits, not complete yet though.
  • SKINABLE! Well, not exactly, atm there are only 2 skins, the default one made by me, and the default one, in another color, also made by me

Wow, I really like this idea and concept alot!!

I've been wanting a portable Serebii pokedex for a while now, and though this isn't quite the same, it's still great!

Keep up the good work!!

Like I told Curley today, this is not dead.
It's just that I have to do a lot of coding at school, so it isnt really motivating me, to do even more coding at home.
But I will continue whenever I feel like it.

You worry about Finals first, bucko.

Forget these peons. You got a responsibility to yourself first.

Peeps'll can just keep going to Serebii.net.

You'll have plenty of time to code your heart away after Xmass.

I'm chomping at the bit for this to be completed, too. But I did my time in the Universities, I know how it gets this time of year.

Getcher work done first, then deal with this when you can.

Good luck on your finals.
