Gaming OMG ELDER SCROLLS 5 ANNOUNCED!

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim has been announced for launch, along with a small Teaser.

I had not heard it so thanks Bunie.

I am conflicted though- directX 11 might even be getting something of a bump in mid 2011 if the rumours are true (maybe not an entire version but perhaps something as big as shader model 3.0 in DX9) and as these games tend to be a graphical tour de force...... I am sure it will be fun but how much it will be eclipsed by the PC version (given we have long passed the point where it shows- Just Cause 2 and 2009's Risen being the two prime examples).

Well just hope they do a good job with it, sadly i had to learn the hard ware more and more often the last few years that a good name does not say the game will be good ...

I tried Oblivion, but just didn't get into it.

I mean, you're in a first (or third if you wish) person view with a short-range weapon, shield, or bow and you attack things over and over. Doesn't it get a bit repetitive?

Yeah its like 3 weeks ago the game was announced, but this is the first time that its been said to be coming to Xbox 360.

it was already on every site that it was coming out for PS3, 360, and PC on 11/11/11 the day it was announced

For me it's the exploration. The worlds are so vast, and just by wandering around in the wilderness, you find all these awesome caves and dungeons. It was the same with Fallout 3, I loved just exploring and finding random stuff. They are a bit hard to get into, but at least for me, once I'm in, it's hard to get out again.

oblivion and fallout is an exploration-rpg
you've got free hands to do whatever you want, that's why ppl like it

i heard the news a few months ago, cited about it pretty much ofc, i hope they don't screw up the looks of some of the characters again[there are times when mediaval-citizens look good and times when not....i didn't like it]
