i have even tried just using the new m3 fw but that shows the game as homebrew not game and locks up on load?

Still no joy

i have tried everything i just dont get why it is not working?
has anyone got a save from a working one i can try? it may be it is corrupting the save? not sure but everytime i reload the save is wiped clean

Ok I formated again! and now it works on the m3 triple boot when i boot into real fw and all seems to be fine

only thing is i cant load any cheats as just trying to load the file crashes the fw

oh well dont need any anyway!

For the M3 Real, iTouchDS and other M3 cards, you need to patch the game with DSATM for it to work properly while every other card can either use the cheat or patch it. If you have an AceKard RPG, AceKard 2, AceKard 2i, use the latest version of AKAIO.

You need to manually set the memory address it patches to use the memory address 20000000 in the patch settings.

okay now you lost me lol how would i do that i dont see any settings options for mem address? or is it included in the cheat txt with the ar code?

okay found settings in that lil button in bottom right did the 0x20000000 address now it just freezes on sakura loading

& arm7 doesnt need to be checked? just the trainer check box?

Hey guys... anyone care to help out a totally clueless chicky with an M3DS Real card? I need a little more "hand-holding" to get through the patching process... I'm not sure where to begin! I have the game on my card, but it just goes to a white screen when I try to play it. ***EDIT - I downloaded the latest Cheat.db file onto my card, and have that activated as well, but it still goes to a white screen. Any tips / advice are greatly appreciated!! Sorry again for being so pathetically n00bish >_

Also, I'm currently running the older firmware - I have a feeling that might be part of the problem huh? Should I update to Sakura maybe? Or are people still successful with the older firmware?

Oki new developments... I managed to patch the game file with DSATM, according to Narin's advice up above. I gave it the memory address 20000000 in the patch settings, and that went smoothly. I tried running the patched game again, with the cheat activated, and now the game just freezes when trying to create the save file for the first time. Still haven't updated to the latest version of Sakura yet, so that's what I'm doing next... still, any further tips/advice are always appreciated! ^_~

** Oki one more edit - found another thread that explained how to do this very simply and easily for the M3 Real, and now I have it working! Yayyy! For anyone still lost/needing help, that thread is here:
