Just ordered one, hopefully it'll arrive after exams next week so I'm not tempted to tinker. Though I don't really think the update will be live by then.
I don't understand the question, waiting someone else to reply.

Are there any physical game cartridges with 9.x updates on them people can use to update their systems?

NoIf i bought a new japanese 3ds is there any way to make the home menu in english using the gateway card?
To avoid more questions I suggest you to include the 2ds too, you fogot it.
Although still speculation at this stage, I think emuNAND is a given. For safety reasons if nothing else.
Right now maybe 1-2% of all 3DS owners are potential gateway customers, that number is about to go up to 100%.
That's a lot of newbies about to jump on the gateway bandwagon. Letting users install directly to the sysNAND would be downright irresponsible.
You fuck up your sysNAND and you're looking at bricking your 3DS. In which case a hardware mod and a NAND reflash is your only option for recovery.
The first post is about facts, you can't prevent the replies from veering off into speculation. Well, unless you lock and sticky the thread.
Of course it will be nice that he tries to explain it. I was actually hinting him that the question might be a bit too confusing. Anyway, I replied him because I am also replying to another guy's post. I hope that doesn't disturb you.you wasn't asked personally so if you didnt know what was the point in responding? lool it confuses me
Yes you may use Pokebank to transfer from a Gateway pokemon rom using emunand, if that is what you mean. Can Pokebank take pokemon from a rom of Pokemon x/y/or/as?
So Ive been reading that the Gateway blue card is not supported on 6.x and up. Should I just discard that then, and only keep the red card, or are they able to fix it via a downloadable software update?
It is likely that the new gateway exploit doesn´t rely anymore on the ds mode exploit in order to install it. Considering this, is it feasible that gateway´s multi-rom menu will support ds roms? If this ends up happening then that would mean that we could play both 3ds and ds roms on a single card.
I would like to know this too! Great question!
Unless its giving you an itch you cant stand, hold on to it. You never know.So Ive been reading that the Gateway blue card is not supported on 6.x and up. Should I just discard that then, and only keep the red card, or are they able to fix it via a downloadable software update?
