Hacking I've googled/researched but I have a few questions

So I've got a 5tb hdd and a WiiU. I've got access to the homebrew menu and I have been installing wiiU games. I want to hack the vWii and transfer all of my old already backed up wii and gamecube games I was using on my wii years ago.

Can I use the same HDD for my WiiU games AND the Wii games?
Do I still need to use my sd card for gamecube games?
Do I 100% need a cfw in order to install DLC? <--- pretty sure this is yes, but is anything in the works for non cfw?

1. ATM you need a seprate drive for wii u and vwii. But Mocha (a cfw) is getting fat32 support soon so you can share the drive
2. You can use usb drives
3. Yes you need cfw. You can install games that are on disc without cfw and thats it

Thanks, I guess I will wait until Mocha gets fat32 support, then I will mod the vwii. That way I can do DLC and wii/gamecube. Thanks, that was what I was hoping for

For now you can run wii/gamecube off sd card and run wii u off system memory/usb
To mod vWii make sure you follow the right guide
