I've been at it all day, trying to set up a modded vwii on my modded WiiU.

Installed d2xcios and USB Loader GX. USB Loader GX 3.0 won't see my hdd ever. WiiFlow and WiiFlow Lite doesn't either.

The hdd is 320GB, no external power, but a Y-cable and it's on and running. It works on my wii as well.
I tried all sorts of formats, tried all formatting all 320GB in FAT32 and NTFS, tried a 32GB partition in FAT32.

Tried a FAT32 flash drive with wbfs files on it, but flash drives aren't supposed to work well with the vwii anyway, right? Unfortunately I don't have another external hdd right now, BUT the one I'm using should be fine, mentioning all of the above.

Good morning,

Did you plug the two USB ports correctly into the back of the Wii U (and not in reverse)?

what guide did you follow for vwii mode on your wii U?

Tried a FAT32 flash drive with wbfs files on it
Also you need formatting FAT32 with 32kb cluster size

They tend to have issues but not every one has issue. I tried several flash drives and SD readers and they work fine. The only one cannot be recognized by vWii is an "all-in-one" reader with TF/SD/MS/CF slots.

Remember for vWii you need to plug into the REAR UPPER USB port.
