Pretty much the title. It just stopped showing apps one day, and I have no idea why. I have tried reformatting it with both Windows and 3rd party software (FAT32, allocation size 32 kb). Any ideas why this might be? Thanks
I dont know if you tried but pressing 1 on Wii Remote and you can choose SD or USB IF they are available. It's a good option to know if console are recognizing or not a SD or USBPretty much the title. It just stopped showing apps one day, and I have no idea why. Does the Wii even find the SD? Look in System Settings / Data Management. It should show "free blocks" and it should be able to copy saves from the NAND to the SD.I’ve done that, SD is selected and it does recognize it.

h2testw said my sd card was fine, I've tried another sd card and it still didn't work, I put only one app in my apps folder and still it doesn't work
- filesystem FAT32 → okay
- reading/writing to SD with Data Management→ okay
- Check you SD with h2testw.
- Try with a different SD.
- Try with a FAT32 USB-drive if you “apps” folder can be loaded.
- Try a new “apps” folder with only one app.
Still doesn't work, but wait a second... your signature says you have hbl 1.1.3... I only have 1.1.2! Maybe it wants to update but something's stopping itTry removing all apps, and only adding one or two (preferably, cleanly downloaded ones) - wouldn't surprise me if it was getting confused by a corrupted file

I don't think the new HBC will change anything. Not sure if accessing a WAD-manager is possible if you have deleted HBC. Maybe Priiloader can boot a WAD-manager. Make a NAND-backup before trying anything like changing HBC.So do I delete the old homebrew channel in data management then install the new wad?
1. My reasoning is that I wanted to reinstall homebrew channel, maybe that would work. Then when I saw there was a 1.1.3, I thought why not upgrade, since it was probs have the same outcome as reinstalling 1.1.2, so why not?I don't think the new HBC will change anything. Do you have Bootmii in boot2 and/or Priiloader installed?
Sorry, I'm running out of ideas for your actual problem. Have you yet tried to load apps from USB? And delete the save data of the HBC (not the channel!)
I've been using a 4gb one for 3 years, and only now it's not workingTry formatting your card with GPT or MBR (whichever one you aren't using or both if you're not sure)
edit: I also read somewhere that the inserted sd card need to be a 2gb one (some people said they could just put a 2gb partition on it instead)
or problems would occur
Just a thought the wii doesn't seem to be able to read more than the main partition, but you could still use the other 2gb. No reason not to give it a shot you don't need a new card for it eitherI've been using a 4gb one for 3 years, and only now it's not working
