Thanks for all of your replies, The reason I use a wbfs formatted drive is bc fat32 won’t work with usbloader gx.

I'd probably like USB Loader GX more if it wasn't trying so hard to be the Wii's main system menu knock-off. It's trying too hard, and just comes off as half-baked ass.
Better yet USB Loader GX creates a virtual nand on your sd card and installs most virtual console for you there.

I'd hate it for that too if Wii games didn't have banners. The banners look wrong without the surrounding Wii Menu stuff.

if you're using a usb drive for usb loader gx, not every flash drive works well with it and one of the possible symptoms is that it wont work when the drive is fat32. but the same drive that doesnt work in fat32 can sometimes work fine if it's specially formatted to wbfs

so if you're okay with continuing to use wbfs, you can stick with that, but if you want to switch to fat32, I would suggest trying different drives

this might be a good place to start

note that newer usb loader gx can also load games from sd card instead, which might be more reliable/easier to find. and you can use sd card source for both usb loader gx and nintendont together

alternatively: keep using that drive in wbfs for wii games, and use sd card for nintendont

hello I'm new to the Nintendont homebrew app and I want to know how do I install roms on the wii with a micro sd card

Make a new thread in the Wii Section. This thread isn't related.

Nevertheless, to answer your question, Nintendont doesn't recognize WBFS format. not sure if it's even possible to format sd cards as wbfs, probably not, thus the sd card should be formatted as fat32, which what most people use anyway.
When you said "roms" i think you're talking about GameCube iso files, in that case you have to place them i sd:/games folder. Though each game should have its own folder, inside the "games" folder, with the games's game id in the title. Inside each game folder the iso is named "game.iso". If you don't know what any of this means, just use GameCubeBackupManager it'll do all the naming/copying for you.
