And now we have a 3rd player in the WiiU CFW race......
Upon reading his blog this one sounds as if it will be more user friendly before WiiUbru's version and SALT's unless they release theirs soon...

Remember back in the day when everyone said IOSU wasn't going to change anything and that whatever anyone wanted to do could be made with Kernel exploits?

Well, I don't want to be that guy but...

The vast majority of people wanted IOSU for easier game piracy, e.g. USB game loaders, going from the forum posts here anyway...

In regards to homebrew it doesn't really change that much from what i've gathered. However a permanent exploit that launches when the Wii U boots will hopefully encourage more homebrew development, we will just have to see.

I said that before, ppl blamed me and I don't regret nothing :) I was pretty sure that IOSU was the last hope of the wiiu scene.

Its kinda true, everything IOSU got us was a way for Developer to use USB in their Homebrew.

The thing is THERE ARE NO DEVELOPER THAT ARE DEVELOPING ANYTHING BESIDES THE ONES THAT MAKES IOSU!!

When I think of CFW I think of customised firmware: themes, modded text, alternate music, (sig) patches and splash screens.

Full control over the look and feel.

Can't wait for a dark themed Wii u!
In your list you missed out region free lol that is a must of a cfw for me.

Is he one of the guys who accepted yifan's vita hack challenge and then completed it with ease? According to his nickname, it seems to be. If he could help the wii u scene, then there will be a huge boost to the sucess rate of the iosu.

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
